Small shop but nicely curated selections. Excellent wine at very fair prices, good beer selection, and some great spirits that are often tough to find on the Island. The owner is very knowledgeable and great fun to talk with.

Probably the best beer shop in all of Big Island. I found it had much more diversity than the beers you find just about everywhere else. They had a real diversity of really excellent craft beers here. The shop owner was extremely knowledgeable and helpful (and even gave me good tips for what shops to check out in other islands). Get your beers here instead of the more commercial and less interesting stuff you find in the supermarkets. You'll be supporting a local business too!

It's a small shop, a bit expensive, but the owner who helped us was very nice. We were a bit clueless and she went out of her way to give us recommendations and get us oriented around the town!

The proprietor was knowledgeable and well versed in the local brews, beers and wine.She suggested suitable beverages for our different scenarios.We also managed to snag a street parking spot just outside the store to minimize carrying goods.

@hilobottleshop (liquor store) is located in Downtown Hilo at 340 Kilauea Ave. They have a very eclectic and selective inventory, and I absolutely love it. I saw stuff I'd never seen anywhere else. They stock local, national, and international beer, wine, and hard liquors, so I'm sure you can find something you'd want to try. I'll definitely be back If you're looking for new and exciting drinks, check them out. You're going to love it

Do you find yourself in Hilo looking for something special to drink at your hotel? Look no further than the best (only) bottle shop in town. In a tiny space in downtown Hilo, the owner Courtney manages to squeeze in so many special things for every taste and strength. The store is kept clean and organized with shelves along both walls. Selections include beer, both local and national/international choices, wine, and liquor. As space is tight, the selection is curated with great choices at reasonable prices. They also sell specialty items like books, cooking utensils, and bar equipment, perfect to go along with those selections. Beer is kept in refrigerators, so it's cold and ready to enjoy. Parking is street, you shouldn't have trouble finding a space to stop in. The owners and staff are friendly and welcoming, be sure to ask if you need help making a selection.This is the best place in Hilo to buy beer, wine, and liquor. Be sure to keep an eye out for their free meet & greet tasting nights.
