I got a great cut, color, blow dry/curl style from Keiko at Hilo Style. She is sweet and a delight to talk to and very talented. Everyone wore masks including the clients. I was met by a receptionist who was probably also the manager. There were 3 stylists including Keiko with clients all busy and happy. The salon was very professionally managed. I had to call 4 salons to find Hilo Style. I was getting no answer or voice messages and when I called Hilo Style, they actually answered the phone. They are located in the Kino'ole Plaza. There is no sign outside but if you park and go inside you will easily find them. A wonderful experience at a reasonable price.

When I moved to Hilo, I wanted to be careful to find someone who was skilled with short, layered cuts and hair color. I was very lucky that Ben had a cancellation that day because he's usually booked far in advance. He has been a God send and I trust him completely with my hair. He's also very relaxing to talk with. I highly recommend this salon.

Ben was wonderful. I showed him photos from my mainland gal and written notes she sent and he did an even better job than my regular gal!! He took his time and asked me questions and I've found my "forever Hilo stylist"!!! My husband agrees Ben is a keeper. I get a pixie and it can go from cute to too short very fast, not with Ben!
