HITCO just expertly moved us into our new Pahoa home. They were punctual, courteous and very professional, unpacking everything delivered, and making absolutely sure every single box and piece of furniture on the manifest was delivered undamaged. I'd highly recommend them for any move to or from the Big Island.

Hitco team was very helpful throughout the the whole process. They were very punctual on the delivery and pick up of the container. The experience made moving so much easier.

I first met up with Hitco shortly after I moved to Volcano on the Big Island. Anne was really accommodating since I called them last minute to help us move our belongings from a pod to our home in Volcano. The guys are great. They are personable, professional,and fast, also very hardworking. Since that time I had 3 more pods coming in and I was able to get the guys at Hitco to help us once again. We got the same level of service and professionalism. They are good, honest local people who do what they can to accommodate you and help make moving so much less stressful. Mahalo to Anne and her crew! We couldn’t have done it without you!

They are awesome. They are professional and courteous. Not only did they handle our household goods with care, they did it pretty fast. I plan on using them when our next 3 pods arrive from Oahu. From start to finish, our overall experience was fantastic!

Had a container dropped off today. Called last minute and they were able to accommodate. Drivers were super friendly and the lady who booked everything for us was sweet and patient. Would definitely use HITCO again! Thanks!

A lot of miscommunication! First, the lady I spoke to tells me that because they cannot offload a single 20' container at YB, they would need to haul the entire container. I said that's fine, but I wanted to contact YB to confirm if that was true. She also assumed I only needed the YB container to be dropped off to my address without offloading the materials. I assumed the quote was for pick-up and return of container and offloading because she mentioned the roundtrip costs of hauling the whole container to my address and back to YB all on the same day. She said I'll send the quote over to you. I said okay, great! After our follow-up call to confirm, she said the container will need to be returned within 48 hrs, so a Friday pick up would not work. Assuming she had quoted me for offloading, I questioned why Friday would not work if they return the container the same day after they offload to my address? She then tells me the quote was only for pick up and drop off of the YB container. So I said okay, please quote me for offloading. She said okay, I'll get back to you. I said okay, great! After waiting for a call back, my other half and I had contacted YB to reconfirm the offloading restrictions on site she had mentioned. YB got back to us and said it was allowable for any moving company to offload a container into a moving truck on site. I forwarded YB's email to my contact at HITCO to reconfirm that it was okay for them offload onto a moving truck on site but still refused and said they were fully booked. Hmmm!? So, all that miscommunication led to sorry we're booked!!?? I gave them a one star for the effort of giving me other moving companies to contact.
