It is a shame that Office Depot purchased HOPACO, this once upon a time great paper/cleaning supply store, but is no longer due to the corporate mismanagement & inability to send supplies. HOPACO shelves are empty as is the Hilo store due to Office Depots incompetence to properly do their job, unless it is to shutter this store. Oh well...

When you don't have a reward number, the clerk hits print receipt on the cc reader. But when you asked to have the email option, because it's the customers' choice, the clerk's attitude came flying out. "OK, I have to do it all over" Mind you it's 5 items and there's only 1 customer in the store at 8:45am on a Thursday. But at least she came out to help with the purchase, the one sitting by the register got her eyes glued to the cellphone. WTH happened to the customer service Hopaco? If you no like customers then close it down!lued to the cellphone. WTH happened to today's service industry.?

Large sign that says open in the doorway, you can see the sign from the road… then there’s a tiny kind of convoluted sign on the other door that says closed for Labor Day. Come on Hilo we do do better than this.I originally gave this one star literally one minute ago, but I didn’t think that was fair… the store itself could be fine, but the ours was the situation I was complaining about

Great place to get paper goods/utensils; up until recently.It's too bad they no longer open on Saturdays; especially for people who work full time Mon-Fri. By the time I'm done working, they're closed. They need to update the business hours info online.It would be great if they stay open later on weekdays or re-open on the weekends again.

Great place to get paper goods/utensils; up until recently.
It's too bad they no longer open on Saturdays; especially for people who work full time Mon-Fri. By the time I'm done working, they're closed. They need to update the business hours info online.
It would be great if they stay open later on weekdays or re-open on the weekends again.

Truly exceptional service to find a box and packing material for sending a delicate part to mainland...found a recycled box and mini air pouch packing and taped it up for me at no charge...happily we do buy a lot of supplies here routinely...
