READ THIS!! OK I brought my car into the Honda dealership for an oil change and to check a slowly leaking tire. Honda Dealership completely assured me the tire was unrepairable and said a new tire with mount would cost about $300.
I called K&J for an estimate for a brand new tire at $170 mounted. I thought well that’s much cheaper.
I casually mentioned to them that the dealership said it was unrepairable and should I at least have them look at it to make sure? Well guess what….it was repairable and they fixed it $30 total.
Now they could’ve sold me the tire without saying anything, but they did not. This is the kind of local service in Hilo you can’t get from a corporate entity like Honda dealerships.
I’m 99.9% sure this is the cheapest and most affordable place in town aside from the fact that they’re really just honest humans in the circumstance.

I called to ask about a quote for tires for my 20 year old car and was very happy they already had the correct size in stock. I had tried a couple of places and no one else had them. They even gave me a same day appointment and were finished in a little over an hour for a great price. Everyone was very friendly, it felt great to support a local business, and I definitely recommend them for all of your wheel and tire needs! 🤙✨

Solid crew helping a brother out in need! Woke up to a flat tire this morning In the middle of moving my family from the place we need to leave to our new homestead property and totally tapped out of cash - Ray hooked it up w/ a quick tire patch on the house to keep me moving for a few days until payday… as soon as I get my next paycheck I’m coming back for a new tire asap! If you need any automotive mechanic help check with these guys first and help support those that help others in need 💯

they are truly the best! I take both my vehicles there. always just a call and a “yes come on in”. they get it done so quick, with such great customer service from the tita’s to all the braddah🤙🏾 hands down best service with best prices. hard to beat!

I whole heartedly recommend K & J! I was concerned that the repair would take several days because I had two tires from two different cars - one to replace and one to repair (plus, one was Tesla, which many repair shops don't carry). Within a day of calling Ron arranged a service call and now both tires are good as new! Thanks so much Ron & K&J!

They got me in immediately for a quick tire replacement, and charged less than competitors I had called. Reception nice and cool, including really cute cats to snuggle. Very polite, hard working guys that are friendly and fast!

The people that work in this place are needlessly rude for absolutely no reason. No Aloha. Just go to Lex Broadies in Hilo, it's worth the extra money not to be treated like garbage Brah.

Very unprofessional.
We got a flat tire while traveling (having to catch a plane on the next day, on the other side of the island). Called this place to get it fixed. They assured us it would be finished in 1.5hours but after 2.5 hours they had not even touched it. The clerk simply said that they have been busy and that I was welcome to take the place some place else, ignoring the fact that it was almost closing time. He made it clear he didn't care about our business and said he had made no promises.
What a way to run a business...

They fit me in so quickly to their busy schedule, and had my tire ready in under 1.5 hours. Reuben was extremely kind and helpful, he even put my new tire on for me after I said I could do it myself since they were busy. They also gave me a card to recommend an alignment service to me since I need that service as well. Incredible service! Thank you, K&J!
