Kilauea Market is a small but essential store in Hilo, known for its unique selection of Asian food products. Customers appreciate the variety of items offered, including noodles, frozen potstickers, dumplings, spices, and sauces. The store carries essential products for Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, and Filipino cooking, making it a valuable resource for the community. Many shoppers enjoy the reasonable prices on items like pots, ranging from single servings to larger quantities. However, some reviews point out issues with cleanliness and stock levels, noting that a significant portion of the store may be empty and that the produce can be wilted or not fresh. Despite these drawbacks, Kilauea Market remains a popular destination for those searching for specific Asian ingredients that are hard to find in mainstream stores. The store's long-standing presence in the community reflects its importance to local shoppers looking for specialty items. Overall, Kilauea Market serves as a convenient place for those in need of unique Asian foods and household items.
It is a nice shop; but at time, some items are out of stock, the staffs are nice and helpful.

I love this damn store, all the cutlery and pans and stuff is very nice. Plus I can get all the foods I can't get at the mainstream stores here. Love the noodles and frozen potstickers

Not stocked well. In fact, 40% of the store is empty. And it isn't clean.
