I first went in for a tire and rim quote and the manager was so good at what he did he went so far above and beyond. I ended up not buying anything from anyone but remembered the service. I went in today for a transmission service. They by far beat the dealer price with the same service. They got me in on time and let me wait, try that at the dealer. I want to thank Tiana, and Sky, they were very professional and gave excellent service. I will definitely be going back for my service on my cars.

My 2008 Lincoln MKX started doing the shimmy shake last week and the check engine light came on. I took it to the closest place which was Lex Brody on Kilauea. Some background is needed here. I bought the vehicle from a guy in Waikoloa who said it was in perfect shape with no issues. On the way home the AC started blowing warm air. I notified him and he said to take it to Lex Brody and have the freon topped off and he would pay for it. Lex Brody said they have to do a full diagnostic before they would add freon. They put dye in the system and said when it starts blowing warm air again to bring it back for the repair. So that was done a few months ago. (The guy never paid of course.) The AC has been working perfectly since then. I keep the thermostat set on 76 all the time. When I took my car to Lex Brody for the shaking and engine light, they said the number 6 spark plug is bad and the oil valve cover gasket is leaking. They said they have to replace all 6 spark plugs and coils. That plus the gasket was going to be $2,233.25. I don't even have $200 right now so I said only replace the number 6 spark plug. They said they can't do that. I said I'd take it somewhere else. Then they said they can do it and it would cost $1,336.44. I told them not to do anything. I picked it up and paid $186.60 for the diagnostic. When I picked it up, my AC thermostat was set on 60 and my AC was blowing hot air! Why would they even touch my AC? I 100% believe they tampered with my AC. I do not recommend going there for anything.

If you want quick 30min or so oil change then they're good with that or if you want a car wash maybe but I don't usually wash mines there. Service was quick and response rate on here was good.

They will not ask you if you are Veteran [they do give Veterans discounts] but you have to ask for it. Even if you got a Vet discount the time before you still have to ask, but they know everything about your vehicle and you except that you are a Veteran.

I went for an oil change and tire rotation today. We have been bringing this particular vehicle there several times, but for some reason today they used synthetic oil even though we always request regular oil. They went over the charges fast and I didn't realize that the oil was synthetic. When I asked why they would change to synthetic from our regular oil, I was told they didn't see it when our account first came up so our final bill was almost $200. Tire rotation was $80. We are going to look for a different company.

I drive 100 miles each day and at the end of my work day I realized my tire on my Subaru was flat. Right before closing I went in and they kindly helped me get a replacement. Staff was awesome and quick. I will always use Lex Brodies for any of my vehicle maintenance.

Synthetic oil change and tire rotation. I walked in no appointment. They did take me right away. I was in and out with an hour and half. They did honor veterans 10% discount. Good friendly service.

I will NOT return to Lex Brody Hilo. Poor service, not professional, they not do a thorough oil change and put fairly clean filters back, they would not brush what little debris was on the filter! I ll do it myself. Lex Brody in Waimea & Kona are professional and thorough, will continue to be my go to for tires & oil change!

My light after a oil change, and new air filter, and front breakers, ABS & check I engine light went on, big problem on PARTS, Non disclosure,, don't know if was generic aftermarket parts, cheap oil,?cheap air filter?. What brand spark plugs? And when I went in to do rear break, I was ignored, they said ohhh it second dary.dont need. 800$ front break wich I didn't need yet. I don't trust them for shit cause it's not disclosure for parts oil spark plugs they don't tell you what brand..

**Warning: This Place is careless - Nearly Caused a Crash**
I went in for a quick air refill, and they overfilled my tires by 10 PSI. The result? A tire explosion that almost sent me straight into a tree. I showed them proof that they overfilled, but they weaseled their way out of any responsibility.
Be careful if you’re using this place. You might go in for free air, but you could leave with a $500 price tag—or worse.

Great customer care reps. Very clean waiting areas and restrooms. Bonus points for having coffee and water and convenient charging stations with work tables so you can be busy while waiting. Oh yeah, they fixed up

Walked in without an appt for a basic oil change. They got me in and out in one hour. Recommended a filter change which I did. I felt like the prices were reasonable and the customer service was great!
