Biggest mistake of our one week stay on the island......waiting until our last night to grab a sandwich from Manono!! Amazingly fresh and delicious sandwich made by what has to be one of the Islands sweetest women!

My sister treated me here and y'all! It was amazing! Those sandwiches are what I consider a REAL dang good sandwich. With all the fixings. OMG I'm definitely gonna come back. Ten stars lol but seriously.

Extraordinary take-out. Perfect care and kindness in everyone that helped me. As a guest to Hawaii I was far from home and to be pick the incredible food that was just filled with incredible flavor and perfectly prepared. It was a home cooked meal that stuck with memory even years later. Thank you to all who helped me during my month long stay.

Great little spot our guide Steve, from C Big Island Tours, took us to for lunch. You know it's EXTRA good when I have no pictures for my meal bc it means I've scarfed the whole thing down before I even thought of taking pics of it #newyearsamemeI got the Turkey sandwich with bacon as well as a side of pickles. Please make sure your SO gets their OWN side of pickles otherwise you'll be an unhappy camper like me as I had to begrudgingly share mine :/

This is always a must when we are in Hilo. The pastrami sandwich is killers!!! It's so big that you can share it with someone but my recommendation is that you don't. Once you eat half, you are gonna want to dig into the other half. lol!!!

Manono mini mart used to have the best most incredible pastrami sandwiches! Don't get me wrong, the sandwiches are still good but over time, other places have kind of caught up. Even Subway can pull off a decent pastrami if you order a little extra meat now.But give them props for making them FAST and this small place still makes a delicious sandwich. A tip, put some mustard in the sandwich to give it some POP! But it's my Moms favorite pastrami sandwich so I go here if I gotta get a sandwich.Still a great place to get a sandwich in Hilo.

Great sandwiches for the price. Don't forget to order a side of pickles. It's a great stop before catching a flight out of Hilo. Just order your food first and then pay at the counter.

It's all about the extra pickles with the sandwiches, drinks, chips, and Donna's cookies. I always tell them to put more chicken salad filling than usual I miss the original owners and employees from 30+ years ago. This place is one of my childhood memories, and now it's my kids' turn. This place and Itsu's.

Sandwich's are always fresh simple and made to order! You can also call in and pre order for pick up. And if you enroll in their sandwich club. After so many purchases they offer specials specifically for you! They also have a variety of snack and liquid refreshments for you to purchase!
