This Sally's is really backwards. No customer service whatsoever! when I went to return items that were never opened nor used within a matter of a couple of days of purchase, the sales associate had to call her manager because she was not allowed to give back a cash return. That is their policy, she said. Even tho it's not listed anywhere on the receipt or in store about it. She says they can do an automatic debit or credit, but she needed to get her manager's approval for a CASH BACK return. The manager asked the associate to ask the customer, which is me, if I could come back later to do a cash return because they just opened the store 15-20 minutes before I got there. He wanted me to waste more of my gas to come back to Hilo when I live Pahoa side. Ha! Then, the manager asked the associate if he could speak with me on the phone. He then told me that I'm not allowed to do this again, when I've never done this before. I told the manager he won't expect it from me because I won't be returning as a customer! The worst customer service EVER! He was rude and had no manager skills. They need better customer service skills and a better manager! Worst experience at a Sally's EVER! Be careful when you use CASH!?

This new employee with fake huge lashes and too much foundation on is extremely rude to customers especially when answering the phone “she” just hangs up on customers mid asking questions. It was utterly upsetting and they really need to retrain on their customer service.

I had a wonderful experience at Sally's Beauty Supply in Hilo, Hawaii. The staff here were exceptionally helpful and attentive. They provided excellent customer service, helping me find exactly what I needed. It's always a pleasure to shop at a store where the staff goes above and beyond to assist customers. I'll definitely be returning for all my beauty supply needs!

Of all business that have closed down in Hilo, Sally's Beauty Supply should have closed down and the other businesses/restaurants should have remained. Sally's beauty supply is useless and worthless yet overpriced. Their corporation is a rip off.

The employee was so nice and helpful. I came in thinking I needed one thing but she gave me personalized advice and my hair turned out great! Very happy with my purchase and outcome.

They’ll just be randomly closed on days and times they are listed as open- don’t ever make a trip there without calling first

Mercedes knows hair. I wanted her to cut it, that's how comfortable I felt with her knowledge. I told her I didn't want to look like Orange Trump because that's what box dyes do to me and she understood perfectly that I needed a toner, and she got me the right one so I'm excited. I love this weird year of personal hair care!
