I wish I had the guy's name but I didn't see it. Middle-aged white dude a little bit husky. Totally a a complete A hole.I told him I was looking for the most affordable phone. I point out the $160 phone and he goes back to get it and comes out and says "were out of that one but I can get you this phone" and points to a $600 phone completely skipping over the six other options under $200.I reiterate that I'm looking for an inexpensive phone and say how about this one, this one, this one or this one. He tells me they are out of all of them other than Maybe the $196 phone which he retrieves.I put my SIM card in and start the phone up and it starts going through the process to activate. It starts trying to sync all of the information from my previous phone and I mentioned that's not what I'm wanting to do and he says in a super condescending tone "what did you click on sync or did you click on not interested? He takes the phone and clicks the back button and then holds it in front of my face telling me "yeah look you clicked the sink things up how about try clicking skip instead?" I say yeah I clicked the highlighted blue next button and didn't see the hidden gray text that said skip.So now we're on to the next portion and it's having me enter my email and password which it accepts. Then it tells me it's sending a text to my old phone for verification. I ask how is my old phone going to receive a text for verification when the SIM card is no longer in that phone and is now in the new phone which isn't activated? He gives a dismissive "I don't know you're going to have to talk to Google about that one that's just what they do." Then he says is there a button to choose another method? I say yes I'm already clicking it I'm just questioning why it would even do something like that in the first place when my phone won't receive it. I tell him I'm looking at the other methods and I'm not able to do two of them and the third one I'm able to do is gray and I cannot select it. That's when he gets all huffy puffy and exasperated and shoves his hand out my direction and says in an even more condescending tone than previous "do you want to do this on your own or do you want to hand it over to me so I can do it because that's what I'm here for to help things move along." So I hand him the phone and he restarts it and gets back to the same screen after having me put my email and password in once more and then says "weird this option is gray and can't be selected." Which I tell him yeah I just said that. Then I asked him is there a particular reason why it would be gray and unable to select? He holds the phone up in front of my face and points to the screen saying I don't know you tell me does it look like there's an explanation of why it's happening?Dude just acted like a complete and total prick the entire way through as if this isn't his job to understand. Like IM the one working at the store who should have the answers for his paycheck.I was there for nearly an hour unable to start the new phone so I finally asked them to cancel the purchase which he quickly jumps on. While he's on the computer and wondering if the phone is now connected to my email because it had me put in my information and password which accepted.. I say "ummmm..." To which he spins around highly annoyed looking and says what are you going to cancel the cancel and now you want to keep the phone because you better tell me now before I finalize it." I say no I'm just curious if it's connected to my email now and once again more condescendingly than previous he says no. The phone isn't active. That's why we've been sitting here trying to activate it." As if it's not a understandable concern after having put my password in numerous times.....Aside from this guy there was also a charge on the receipt for a $35 connection fee which

Aja is super nice. Had a bad experience the first time but she made it right. Good customer service is rare now unfortunately, but still some great people out there who take pride in doing a good job. Mahalo

Made a very fast stop at T-Mobile to have my screen protector replaced however the screen savors for my I phone were not in stock. I experienced a good visit because of the excellent friendly service. As a T-Mobile user I was incredibly happy finding this location for phone service while in Hilo. Being in a shopping center there was ample parking close to the store.

I just called t mobile, and waited an hour on hold then some man with a Filipino accent couldn't tell me why I'm getting bills from them after I turned off my line in march. Then denied me when I asked to speak to a supervisor and hung up. It's like they just hire anybody nowadays

The old timers deserve a 5+++ star. Nadi, Kyle, Aja, Tessie. This is the above and beyond crew. 1- male rep, always wanna just sell and not help. He's never taken accountability for his wrong doing. His words is always " as I said" his voice is ven escalates sometimes. 2- the other manager is sassy and a bit lippy. She even walked into the store with a bikini top on what I assume was her day off once. I mean if you're a manager, please don't do that. Maybe she should have matured more when she took the manager position? 3- female rep, tall girl is always taking selfies. 4- other male rep is kinda sassy at times I haven't been to the store in a few weeks but just wanted to share my observations. I love the help I get from the old timers but come on new ones and young manager

Polite, friendly, courteous and unable to help me with a Metro account. And unfortunately it's the only option I have on the Hilo side of the island. However, due to their friendliness, I will be going back for a service change. I'm one of the few people that have constant cell service on the island.

Customer service at this location has always been poor. Now that they have remodeled and no longer have the ability to assist with a "Sprint" phone even when the phone was purchased at this location and has a T-Mobile sim. Absolutely useless going here and hoping for any help, their suggestion that we drive to Kona adds insult to injury or vice versa. Hey, you bought our account, service it!

We recently visited the newly renovated Hilo store to upgrade our phones. This store no longer has access to sprint customer’s account information so they could not help us. I called 611 as the employee suggested. I was told this store no longer has the “tools” needed to access sprint customer’s account and I needed to either drive to Kona or fly to another island to a store with the right tools. After waiting for almost two months for the Hilo store to reopen we decided to DRIVE…straight to VERIZON for better customer service and our new phones.

When do you plan on reopening in Hilo? Don't have time to drive to Kona and the customers service is animated and does not understand me.
