I couldn't believe that only after 4 years, my Chevy Transmission died! I was so pissed. It died right after the warranty. Deluz Chevy didn't want it either and suggested Transmission Technology to repair it. It was very expensive to repair, Im not going to lie. But Brysen and Corey at Transmission Technology were great in explaining things to me. They were always available by phone, e-mail, or if I just stopped by. Brysen put the new transmission in ahead of schedule and its running great! He is also doing follow up visits and servicing at no cost to make sure the new transmission is running fine with no issues. Mahalo Nui Brysen and Corey! I'm a happy customer! So glad I got my truck back! ❤️👍🤗

had an issue with my 08 xb automatic transmission wouldn't go into drive until it warmed up these guys explained the possible issues and what needed to be done the lubricants and service performed on the transmission resolved those issues saving me a costly rebuild drives like it should again

The service is awesome. Brysen the owner is very personable, he wants to help and get your vehicle running. He is also very knowledgeable. They are always busy but will try to accommodate the best they can just call ahead.

My experience was awesome! I highly recommend them. Polite , knowledgeable super organized and efficient. They diagnosed my prob and and fixed it. If you have a transmission problem or question take your car there you will be happy you did.
I found them to be trustworthy he explained my issue and bill and I was back on the road.

I had the best experience with Transmission Technology. I was so anxious about the possibility that my transmission might be unfixable or too costly to repair.
Brysen made me feel comfortable from the start and was very friendly, patient and supportive. He explained the possible scenarios and costs. They knew how badly I needed my transportation.
Corey worked on my auto while waiting for and as soon as a part was received. He did a really great job, and the cost of everything was reasonable.
Brysen and Corey have worked at Transmission Technology for many years. I was so happy to learn that they now Own this Hilo business!

Had trans rebuilt by trans tech. Transmission had no forward after 4,000 miles. when contacted was told it was past 12 month warranty. Would not stand behind their work. Beware of this company. Injury to insult took truck into shop 2 weeks before saying something wasn't right. Got charged $400 and told they couldn't find anything. Stay away!!!

Good knowledgeable crew able to put in transmission correctly. It might take a little longer than expected because they’re like the only place in Hilo for a job like this but they make sure everything is square 👍🏼

Made me pay over 1000 dollars for them to do nothing. Problems with transmission was still there. Took my vehicle to another shop was recommended by someone else and gave them the paper work from these guys and took my vehicle for a drive and came back saying transmission technology knew I needed a new transmission but don't know why they didn't say anything. They are not as advertised
