“This truck rental company is the best place to shop for a truck rental in Hilo Hawai’i.Best prices when comparing all factors including rent, miles and insurance. Most importantly, these are the only trucks that have a hydraulic lift gate on the island that you can rent. This is particularly helpful when moving, you don't need a ramp. You will find that this is EXTREMELY useful if you are utilizing a conex/sea box/shipping container to move because none of the shipping companies provide a ramp and absolutely no one has a ramp for rent.A word of advice is to reserve the truck well in advance as the number of trucks are limited. Additionally, they prefer to lease out on a monthly basis but will accommodate you if they have one available. On top of all these great reasons, the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful too.Oh yeah, the floor space is uninterrupted with no wheel well humps inside, making it very easy to load and unload.”

“Had a tough time getting there. The bus drove right past me so I had to ride my bicycle the whole way from Mtn. View to Hilo. Got a flat tire in the last five minutes before I found the place. Between the air conditioning in the building (heavenly after biking through Hilo) and the guy who worked there being so cool (including offering to run their air compressor for my tire), I wasn't even in a bad mood any more by the time I drove away in the truck.The truck ran great, I got everything I paid for, and couldn't have asked for more.I wish I had gotten his name for the review. He was on the tall side and Hawaiian, if that helps.”
