This 7-Eleven is located along North King St. (Eons ago, this was the Alpha Video store LOL) It's within the Kingsgate Plaza, where you'll also find Jollibee and Jiffy Lube. It's right across the street from Mayor Wrights Housing, sooo to say it's a lil sketch is an understatement. There are frequent colorful and shady characters hanging around the front of the store. Please be mindful of your surroundings. As described on their website, "Locally operated since 1989 and currently serving 66 locations across Oahu, Hawaii Island, Kauai, and Maui, we are Hawaii's convenience destination. We continue our commitment to providing an exciting variety of products, quality, and value, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week." This is a Japanese owned American convenience store chain that is headquartered in Texas. There are locations all around the world, they're global (18 countries and regions)!***7/11/2023: Today was 7/11 day! Happy Birthday 7/11! Since 1978, celebrating 45 years of operations in Hawaii. This is their IG, @7elevenhi and this is their website, 7elevenhawaii.com Did you know that the SLURPEE® was born in 1965? "This iconic frozen beverage was named after the sound made when drinking it through a straw." To celebrate, customers could enjoy a FREE SMALL SIZE SLURPEE and with any purchase (excluding gas) they could get a FREE TOTE BAG also! I stopped by this store around 12pm noon to get my celebration items. It wasn't super busy but it was busier than usual. All the cups and lids were pre-made and packed into bins next to the slurpee machine. Super convenient! The floor did get a bit sticky around the machines. I grabbed a pack of pork hash for my purchase to get the tote. The workers were pretty efficient. I didn't have to wait too long. The pork hash are made with water chestnuts, MSG, back fat, sesame oil and more! The fragrant sesame oil smell was on point! They were super yummy and very "bouncy" in texture. Cost was about $5.09 for 6 pieces before tax. That's a good deal considering the prices of dim sum for 3 pieces LOL.***(* = recommended items) Overall this location has a bit of everything. Snacks, beverages, ready made food, alcohol, random household items and more. I'll usually head over for a quick bite to eat or drink. Be it a temaki roll (dynamite ahi*), inari sushi (tuna mayo*), somen salad*, pork hash*, and of course A SLURPEE! Slurpee flavors rotate every so often. I do dislike when the flavors I wanna try are not ready, which is more often than not *sad face* but I don't think this is really controllable? They do have a rotating line of snacks with specific themes. I remember a Japanese line of snacks that included a Nori Shio (seaweed salt) potato chip that I was in LOVE with. Along with a Shittori Choco (moist chocolate) chocolate covered corn puff thing. This was back in 2/2021. Currently there seems to be a Korean line of snacks featuring BTS (kPop group) and coffee? The F'Real smoothie/ shake machine was suuuper duuuper loud. Think like jackhammering concrete loud. Not sure if this was normal or if it was broken? LOL. The last time I used it was in 9/2022, so I'm not too sure if it's still there.

One of the best 7-11's I have ever visited. The employees were very pleasant and nice upon entering. The selection of hot deli snacks were amazing, They had dim sum, saipan noodles, loco moco, and severs different versions masubi's. Not to mention all the other varieties of snacks and drinks. I never thought I could get lost or stuck in a 7-Eleven

Afternoon snack decided to try their Manapua . It's a little below average the Bun itself was a little wet inside so when I took my first bite the bread got stuck on the roof of my mouth . The filling was pretty generous for a convient store quality, but on the wet side filling. Although I guess you can't go wrong because of convenience if you don't have the time to go to a real Manapua shop. Lots of people will buy their Manapua anyway because of convenience and that they are there already. Must say I tried their pork hash and that's pretty good . Personally still can't go wrong with 7-11 there all over the place and it's quick and lots of variety to choose from drinks , snacks, food and also gas.

Julie the store manager is a list and cannot be trusted. Service is horrible and all of the pinoy employees act aloof and don't care. They never change or update stock, throw change at you and never say thank you for anything. I've been to 7-11's all across the globe but this is the worst one I've ever been to. Oh and Julie I'm still contacting your district manager.

This is the WORST 7-Eleven on the Island!! I work right across the street and find myself going there when I haven't had an opportunity to get lunch or for just a quick snack. I honestly feel like every single time I go in there, they are out of something, something as simple as salt!! To make matters worse...I always feel like the employees do not like their jobs. I work in customer service and know what an environment should feel like. If you do not like your jobs, then please leave!! Employees are VERY rude, snatch money from your hand, when you ask for a coke in the cooler they automatically answer with "no we don't have anymore", ask for change and they will not give it fort something as simple as 4 quarters, slushy machine is ALWAYS not working, no lids for drinks or slushies....get my point. If it wasn't so close to where I work, i would NEVER go back!!

I thought 7-Eleven convenient stores was a Hawaii grown business for a long time. I later found out finally, in 2019, that it is a Japanese American owned US mainland chain headquartered in Dallas Texas. I assumed they were locally owned. 7-Eleven stores has been a fixture to the Honolulu community as long as I can remember. I started coming to this 7-Eleven location back in 2006, when I started working in the Honolulu districts of Liliha / Kalihi. Since then, I would sometimes come to this specific 7-Eleven store for some daily food options while on the go. I do love the fact that 7-Eleven does sell City and County of Honolulu TheBus passes monthly for adults and children. They have been accepting credit card payments for the bus passes, but stopped altogether effective December 2018, which depressed me. It was basically cash only for TheBus monthly passes, but you can use credit cards for in store purchase. For the most part though, 7-Eleven is basically the one stop shop for anything that you may need for a quick outing or a more quick and inexpensive way to dine. They are noted for their signature spam musubi, which can go from $1.25 with the their variations. They sell the usual convenience items, along with cold soda and beer, whatever you need. Many people usually hit the food items and drink isle, while browsing the candy isle too, but they do sell magazines and other items too. They are a go to place for anyone and they have multiple locations on Oahu. On many ocassions, I would frequent this particular 7-Eleven location, just because of it's proximity to my work location. I often would purchase my daily breakfast options here as well as my monthly bus pass. Throughout the years, this 7-Eleven store here in the bustling part of Kalihi / Liliha / Dillingham area of Honolulu has its place for my morning and sometimes afternoon commute. While they do offer convenience for everyday customers, the fact that they are literally 24 hours / 7 days a week is obviously helpful for those of us who need stuff at odd hours of the night or early morning. The overall experience here at this 7-Eleven is usually casual and non eventful. The service here is always good and fast, and they usually carry the monthly bus pass for the next month, so I don't have to go to another location - in case they were sold out. This 7-Eleven store is located in a small retail culdesac on the corner of Dillingham Blvd and North King Street. They accept major credit cards for in store purchases, but as aforementioned before, they recently stopped accepting them for the monthly bus passes. As for parking though, they do have a small parking lot, but it is shared among the other retail tenants in the building. Best bet is to get here early enough to secure parking. If you are like me, many bus routes intersect here on the corner of Dillingham Blvd and North King Street, but some routes stop on Liliha Street and North King Street too. It's a busy intersection, but you can get here eastbound or westbound. Uber and Lyft can be an option too. While there is no gas station here, they do offer slurpees. It was one of my favorite things as a kid. I still get them from time to time, but it's basically a sugar drink, which is not on the healthy side. It's nice for a nostaglia snack, but not for a regular occurance. My favorite choice for food would be their spam musubi, hands down. It's economical, delicious, and most of all, financially doable for those who are in a bind. This 7-Eleven store is basically like the rest of them on Oahu. It's well lit and clean. It's also organized to where you can easily find what you need. If you are in the area and want the quick meal fix, consider 7-Eleven your daily solution. It's cheap and they do have specials from time to time. While prices here can fluctuate, you can count on 7-Eleven being the one stop shop on your way to and from home daily. I'd recommend coming here, if you are in the area. It's pretty cool. 4.5 stars for th
