They are charging over $200 for a code read on your car…. The device cost $20-50 and auto zone does it for free. I wouldn’t trust this place.

Very rude customer service and outdated station. Expensive prices and not worth dealing with these turtles. You can't get them to service your vehicle on time or get you a safety check without a big issue and disgust. Typically will tell you it'll be hours before you can get the safety check when it looks empty. I wonder how long it can just exist.

Good place to get your once a year auto safety check. Cost is $25 plus tax. Pro tip: don't go on a Friday or Saturday, they are slammed. Pick a Tuesday or Wednesday morning and get there early.

Brought my truck in at 12:30 they said they could get it done that afternoon and did! Fast friendly and good workmanship. Not cheap but I have found that good doesn't come cheap. Will definitely use them in the future.

Needed to get a safety check to register my car because mine was expired. Waited 2 hours for a safety check, got a temporary one and then headed to get my car registered. When I got to the registration they said they couldn't register my car because it failed a safety for my window. They never told me that when I picked my car. I had to wait a week to get the part and a few days more to get it repaired. So I went back today first thing in the morning today to get my recheck. They told me I have to wait 1-1/2 hours even though all they need to do is check the window. When it's done I have to go to registration and come back a 3rd time to get it reinspected for the registration. Another 1-1/2 hour wait - probably. Last time this happened they said I had to put the registration decal on my plate before they could reinspect it. I asked them if they could do it for me. No! I asked the if I could borrow a screwdriver so I could take the plate off to put on the sticker. Sorry, we don't lend tools. Had to go home, put in the sticker and then come back and wait again. No aloha and no common sense going on here.

This morning, I stopped by Koko Marina 76 to have a mechanic check out the engine cooling system. I mentioned to the mechanic that my truck was having overheating issues and I wanted to have the water pump and thermostat replaced because I have a moderately high mileage vehicle. About 10-15 minutes later, the mechanic called my phone to let me know about the cooling system pressure test that he had performed. He told me that the cooling system held pressure, and he could not find any active leaks during the 30-45 minute pressure testing procedure. A short time later, he called me back to confirm that the thermostat was defective, and it also leaked after driving the truck around. The repair was done in a timely manner. The cost of the repair is similar to what other Nissan Frontier owners paid for their thermostat replacement (according to online Nissan forums). I really appreciate the straight-forward communication with the mechanic. He did his best to diagnose my truck logically. He confirmed that the water pump is still functional, and so there was no need to spend extra money to have it replaced. Currently the truck runs fine. The engine cooling system is holding pressure, and not leaking. Coolant temperatures while driving appear to be normal (200-210 degrees) according to my OBD2 digital gauge. I want to express my sincere gratitude to the staff at Koko Marina 76 for helping me through this repair process, and for their fair and friendly service, most importantly.

They charged $50 to swap out a $5 halogen break light in order to pass a safety inspection, which they conveniently require initial payment for upfront. I'd hate to see what they charge for an oil change.

The service station themselves call the mechanic mcgyver? These guys are a joke. Saying they support the community! Needed help with a 10 second job for a wrench, the, I won't even call him a mechanic, guy in the bay would not even look at me, the boss came out and did the same. I have taken my cars here in the past for inspection, and that's about all they can do. Rude, Rude, Rude, just read the other reviews and you see why they have 1 star ratings. Please retire, all of you and staff and get new people in there that care, or close like other businesses in hawaii Kai so people don't keep getting terrible service.
