We had to store a kayak same day and first tried renting a unit online at a chain storage unit company where there was no one on site and their elevator couldn't fit our kayak so we couldn't use the unit we rented. The second unit we tried in the same building was around a corner that was too tight to fit our kayak around. I suspect we're going to have a major headache canceling or getting refunds for those units.
We found A–American Self Storage online and talked to Nickky by phone. She had us in a convenient ground level unit in less than an hour, at a lower rate than the other units we had tried to rent. Super appreciated the help of a human who was willing and able to help us out on short notice and offered us water to boot. Not sure how often we'll need storage units in the area in the future but when we do this will be the first place we go.

Id like to express that Nickky Priolo was more than accommodating. She was pleasant, kind, caring, as well as knowledgeable in all aspects of any questions or concerns I had. Id vote her employee of the month! She even offered me water and hand sanitizer to boot. Just saying A American Storage has the best employees cuz they know how to spread Ohana.

I am having a very good experience with this storage locale and the staff here. From Char to Nickky, the staff have been professional and quite kind in our move to store our belongings. I would like to highlight Assistant Nickky Priolo especially for her patience and kindness with accommodating changing storage units twice when the needs changed. She has great customer service skills and the right human touch to lessen the burden of a move. Much mahalo!

"Easy Breazy, Lemon Squeezy!" In and out in less than 20 minutes!
Ms. Char Coloma, the Manager, greeted me upon entry. She showed me a few different size and cost options. She also kindly told me of an additional discount I wasn't aware I was eligible for. The way she presented the contract and paperwork for my signature was very streamlined and efficient. I left with the perfect size storage locker, and at a price within my budget! I'm very grateful for Ms. Coloma's professionalism. I wish all my interactions with business's went so amicably, quickly and smoothly!

A American storage is in an older building that is not as modernized as say extra space ect. However security is alot tighter. Stairs and elevator are located right by office window and there is constant security checks and cameras. Also staff esp. Nickky are super kind and helpful and obviously care about there customers as they offer cold water and bathrooms. If a place doesn't care about you, why would they care about your stuff? When I was at extra space they had a problem with locker break ins. That is not an issue here. Don't let the buildings old charm fool you. It's the safest and probably cheapest and friendliest place for your cherished belongings
