The Ala Wai Golf Course offers a convenient golfing experience close to downtown, making it a popular choice for many locals and visitors. The driving range, operated by the Hawai'i State Junior Golf Association (HSJGA)/First Tee, provides a nice warm-up spot, although it has limited lighting at night and hits off mats. The fairways are rather wide without much hazards, so not a very difficult course, but some greens definitely need improvements. While the course may not be in the best shape and can be expensive for non-residents, it provides stunning views and a good value for money, especially for those looking to enjoy golfing in December. Overall, it's a nice golf course with good membership, but non-residents may want to consider the course's condition and pricing before visiting.

I take an Israeli dance class here on the weekend, inside the ballroom upstairs. The view is beautiful and calming, and it's just a walk away from downtown Honolulu with the river guiding the way.

Course is wide open and fun to play. The only problem for me was that every par 3's and only par 3's we waited at least 15-20mins due to a few groups ahead of us. I suggest you bring a lot of water and umbrella it can get hot.
