ASB is awesome. Short wait times. Order rare currency like 2$ bills or silver dollars. Nice staff. Decent loans. Free Notary services (appointment recommended) per month, a lower charge per document than UPS/FedEx for members.

I only come here to use the ATM which for the most part is always empty. The inside is horrendous though and there's always a line. The parking here is kind of all over the place too because of the Times Super Market. I would recommend just coming here for the ATM too unless for some reason there is no line, but like I said there's normally always a line. Go to the Kaimukī branch instead they're always faster and no lines lol but the parking is kind of weird there too. lol

Go there once at end of each month to pay insurance & putting in & sometimes taking out $$. Just alot of times there's a line of customers & only 2 sometimes 3 tellers. With patience being a virtue, you eventually get to a tellers. Happy Holiday's

This branch of ASB has its challenges. Those being that parking is kind of a hassle, for one. The stalls right in front of the bank are taken 90% of the time, usually with someone just camping out in their AC car so one has to park in the adjacent Times parking lot and dodge lot traffic. Also, one basically has to park on the sidewalk of King Street to utilize the ATM on the side, which needs an upgrade. And once you get inside after waiting outside in a line...there's another line. The staff are a little touchy as well. I recommend the branch on piikoi rather...it's more user friendly.

True story. Warning, make sure you watch the teller. To verify the transactions are being done correctly. Went in on a Saturday around 12 pm. Tellers name, Ryan. Did a transfer from Savings to Mortgage principal. That was correct. Next, I did a withdrawal from savings. $200. I stated to teller, Ryan, let me know when you want the denominations. I said for each $100, 4-$20, 1-$10, 1-$5, 5-$1. He counted out only $100. Then was ready to forward the money to me, when I said, what about the other hundred? Note: he started fidgeting with things on his desk area, never apologized, didn't act surprised either. Acted nervous. Then he finally said, you said, 4-$20, 1-$10, 1-$5, 5-$1. This response from the teller Ryan, made me really irritated and angry. He then flashed a large $100 bill. My response, I told you the denominations I wanted. He finally took out the correct denominations for the 2nd hundred. Trying to cheat me out of my hard earned money. He must think I am an old lady, and I not watching him dispense out the money. Again, this is a true story. I would avoid this teller. Wondering if he is trying to embezzle customers money.

I feel the same way everybody else feels they just seem so sad and always ask u wanna use the atm outside i wouldnt walked in here if i wanted to use tje atm outside to deposit my check

Saturday, 10/20/18 at 1156am went to the McCully Branch across from Times to get change for my business. I have a business account with ASB and I have not had an issue. I was always greeted and the tellers were always willing to assist me. This the teller wasn't as friendly and told me that she ran out of pennies. She asked a couple of tellers next to her who were just chatting if they had any pennies and said they didn't have any. I left and went to other branch who said that's hard to believe that they would run out of pennies. I agreed that it's hard to believe a bank would run out of pennies. I was disappointed that the tellers didn't check else were or even asked the branch manager or supervisor. Disappointed with the service at the McCully Branch.

I don't know what others may have experienced but I always get quality service at this branch of American Savings bank. I've never had an issue with my account and the staff is perfectly competent.

This is THE absolute worst branch. They mix up your accounts and post deposits INTO the account that you draw a check FROM, take money from another client's account and post to yours, etc! Review EVERY deposit slip you get from them - BEFORE you leave! Or better yet, pass by the branch & go to another one... the past branch managers have been horrid too - not abiding by statewide branch procedures & protocols.
