“I visited this antique store while on vacation to Honolulu. It is fairly small and packed with a variety of curiosities. It was fun slowly navigating through the narrow aisles to see various treasures.
I was staying at the Royal Hawaiian hotel, and was curious about any memorabilia from that hotel specifically. I asked the owner and he knew exactly where to look, thumbing through a binder and he found an old printed dinner menu. I purchased that and a few other items.
Very friendly and knowledgeable owners! Thanks again, and I’ll toast some KY bourbon to you when I arrive back home.”
“Very reputable and established Auction house in Hawaii. Great variety of collectibles and one of a kind finds. I’m always amazed at the discoveries in each auction. It’s evident that they’ve been dealing with Hawaii families for generations. All auctioned items are researched, validated and presented for inspection prior to auction. (Something not always offered by other auction houses)”
“After torturing my partner with jewelry shopping at Ginger13, we stumbled upon this vintage clothing store that is a treasure chest of goods.
Both of our grandparents were born and raised on Oʻahu, and this vintage store brought back so many memories. The owners were incredibly down-to-earth and fun to talk story with.
I scored a green palaka shirt that I plan to rock on the beach for Christmas, plus picked up some screen-printed shirts as gifts.
There’s also an upstairs room with more premium pieces, including collaborations with Japanese brands. Shout out to the cool mom that was buying gifts up there for her son.
I’ve never really been into vintage shopping, but Single Double completely changed my mind. This place was more than just a store- it was an experience, and one I can’t wait to revisit.”
“This is a restaurant that Arashi and Akashiya Sanma have visited before. Inside, there are a lot of Aloha shirts on display, some of which are vintage and cost over $1,000, but used ones are cheaper than expected, ranging from $10 to $30. There are so many items that it takes time to choose.”
“This place is so cool! They have a little bit of everything and even if you don't think you're into antiques, you should check it out. There's something there that will catch your attention, guarantee it. As a history buff, I really enjoyed looking through the old photos and maps their had, as well as the movie posters and figurines. Go check it out!”
“I frequent oddities markets back at home, so OF COURSE I had to stop by this one while in town on vacation. I could not get any of the larger or more fragile items I wanted since I'd be flying home with it, but I had to get a few cute stationary pieces.”
