“Well maintained and close to everything! Library, post office, and more. One of the elevators can be sketchy at times. I've lived here for several months. No AC. However, the breeze is usually constant.”

“Good community center with a gym, pool, playground, and basketball court. Centrally located in the neighborhood and usually has people but not too often over crouded. They also have 2 rooms for rent for events $100 security deposit is required but it's refundable after the event. We live about a block away and spend a ton of time at the basketball court, playground and pool. The gym is pretty small, but it's a nice amenity to have. I've heard the Halsey terrace gym has been newly renovated and is much nicer, but I haven't visited it. I hope my review helps and if you choose Radford terrace as your new home I welcome you and your family to the neighborhood. Also the Radford terrace Facebook page can offer allot of helpful information along with open invitation events but can also be a place for bored people to vent about ridiculous things.”

“As a resident in the building, I have found the staffs to be kind, accommodating, and readily available to assist us when needed. I appreciate the maintenance team's efforts in maintaining cleanliness within the premises. I also believe that the management is doing an excellent job. The presence of a decent-sized pool and gym within the building is convenient for me as it eliminates the need for a gym membership. I am satisfied with the location and find the people in the building to be nice. Given these positive aspects, I suggest that individuals who aspire to be good neighbors should consider buying or renting in this building.”

“I only did a delivery for work. But there is security, automatic doors, and elevator. From what I saw from hallway there was a beautiful few. Close to beach and shops.”

“5 for amenities. 1 for the location. The amenities are excellent. Very caring management and staff. The location however leaves much to be desired. A lot of homeless and the building is next to the drug rehab center and an assisted living with people gathering near the center making it unpleasant to walk by.”

“Unique Signature Building! Great design and presence from near and far. Excellent location for business or residence. Walkable to Waikiki beaches, restaurants, amenities; and ala Moana Park and shopping center.”

“My team and I have an active listing in the building - and are still in disbelief over the amazing amenities. There is a bowling alley, full gym, an oversized hot tub, dry sauna, koi ponds surrounding the BBQ area, and a place to practice your golf swing. Ample guest parking & the location…I just love this building. We helped renovate and the management team was very helpful and accommodating.”

“I lived in Kukui Plaza for a few years. Great location near shopping and public transportation. Good security with security guard station when you enter the building. Beautiful garden and swimming pool. Downside is units get very, very hot during the summer and the plumbing is a tangled mess. Plumbing is tangled up with the unit next door so id you need a plumber, the plumber also has to go into your neighbor"s unit either on the bathroom side or kitchen side (depending on qhere the problem is). That means your neighbor has to be home to let the plumber in or has to leave his or her key with the security guard desk in the lobby so the guard can let the plumber in. Really a pain in the neck.”

“Overall, no real complaints with the building. You can't hear your neighbors, which is a major plus, but you can hear the noise from the H1, which the building sits above. But, considering that this is an issue that you'd face with any building that sits atop of a freeway, I'm not knocking any points off of the building for that. Closing the doors to the lanai does cut down on the highway noise quite a bit (then the highway noise sounds like background, almost white noise to me), but then you have the issue of needing to turn on the AC if it's a certain time of year/heat index. If your unit is without an adequate AC, then, yes, you're going to have issues with heat, especially if you work from home and are in the unit at the worst part of the day. But you resolve this problem by getting a good AC; shame on any LL that doesn't provide an adequate AC, either here or elsewhere. The owner of one unit (1516) even installed central AC at his place before he sold it.On the plus side, the location is excellent. A few minutes drive from Chinatown, Whole Foods, Ala Moana Mall and beach park; a 15 minute drive to the airport and 10 minutes to Waikiki; a couple of blocks from the Blaisdale Center and other areas; and (either a con or a pro depending on who you ask) direct access to the H1, which can make for much easier commuting. The building amenities are also solid, to include 24/7 security/front desk attendant, an on-site property manager, rooftop pool and recreation area, etc. The HOA fees also cover water, sewage, basic cable, and daily grounds upkeep. One thing to keep in mind is that street parking in the area absolutely sucks in the evening. If you don't have assigned parking (every unit should have at least one assigned spot, but if you find yourself with more vehicles than spots, you'll struggle if coming home past a certain time), I'd work to get assigned parking ASAP as it is not fun looking for it.”
