Matt is a fantastic mechanic and a very nice person to talk with. He knows a lot about cars (especially the European ones!) and you can feel how he really likes them and their care. He speaks clearly about the issues of your vehicle and 99% of times he solves your problem. Autoworks has been in several occasions my big helper for a safe drive.

Ignore all of these good reviews!! I went here based off the reviews, and ended up getting scammed. I went here just to get what they called a "thorough" service, since I had never had my car looked at since I bought it and it needed an oil change. The thorough service cost $219, and now im not even confident they looked at anything other than the oil. The cost breakdown of the $219 includes $87 for oil service and $73 for the synthetic oil with other smaller charges as well on the invoice. The owner of autoworks who did my car also told me I needed to get my tires done as well as my timing belt, because it was showing cracks. He told me to go to Costco for tires since they're cheap, and gave me a $1466 quote for the timing belt, which is cheaper than if I got it done at my dealer, which is a good incentive to get it done with Autoworks. But after I went to Costco and they told me my tires were fine and did not need to be replaced yet i decided to get a second opinion on the timing belt, and Im glad I did. I got a second opinion from Midas who does more than a thorough service for only $80, not $219, and they told me timing belts are not typically looked at in cars unless you are hearing weird noises because it takes half a day if not a whole day to take apart the whole engine the even get a look at the timing belt. Autoworks was done looking at my car in 2 hours....There is no way the owner at Autoworks ever set eyes on my timing belt. Also, to know when to replace your timing belt you are supposed to look in your owners manual for the intervals you are supposed to replace it at. My interval for timing belt replacement is every 120,000 miles. My car only has 37,000 miles. Fred, at Midas who helped me was very nice and offered to look at my car for free. He confirmed with my timing belt replacement interval, unless I was hearing loud grinding noises from my car, there was no way my timing belt needed to be replaced. Autoworks scams people who do not know a lot about cars by offering lower prices for repairs that are not even needed, and that they aren't even going to replace when they tell you they will.

I am a fan of Matt and his team at Autoworks LTD. The headline here is that this shop does good work. It is not cheap, but neither are the cars that they're fixing. Volvo cars, particularly the modern vehicles, will require certain specialized equipment that this shop will have because they specialize in Volvo and Lotus repair. Cutter Volvo charges $140.00 per hour for labor and Autoworks LTD charges $145.00 per hour. Should you pay more than the dealership to come here? It's up to you but I would say yes, probably.

Friendly, professional, and quality work at a good price. Highly recommend! They just replaced my condenser fan at half the cost I was quoted at the dealership.

I brought my Volkswagen Passat into Autoworks LTD to get a simple oil change because he has great reviews online. However, I left feeling cheated due to the price I paid for an oil change. Understanding that a Volkswagen oil change is a little more than usual I decided to call around and find out he charged me more then double the price of what most other shops charge. I paid $165 at Autoworks LTD and then comparing it to the $77 quote from "Volkswagen of Honolulu", which is crazy because everyone knows dealers are more pricey. Also during checkout he told me he looked over the car and mentioned my upper control arms are bent ($446 quote) and my two front breaks were at 1mm (it's illegal to let a customer leave with break pads less then 3mm). He quotes me on the breaks, which was completely outrageous ($681 quote) and I find another shop to do the breaks yet again, at almost half the price with all top of the line parts for $460. When getting my breaks changed at the different garage I asked the owner to look and see if there is anything wrong with the upper control arms. I see him taking pictures of all control arms and went over them with me. He tells me they are all find and no work needs to be done with them. The guy at Autoworks LTD comes off as a nice guy but, will take full advantage of you on his pricing and tell you that you need extra work done on your car, when in fact you don't. I'm writing this so this does not happen to anyone else. If you need work done on your car DO NOT come here, he will take every penny he can.
