I really don't recommend this place if it's your first visit to BBW. First of all, all employees seem to be unprofessional and lazy to respond. Furthermore, Yana at the checkout is showing that she is really unkind and doesn't want to work in a low voice that makes her understandably unable to understand. Maybe I'm racist because I'm Korean.What is certain is that after eight years of experience in various countries, Yana needs to rethink whether it is appropriate to work in that store where tourists often visit.Thanks to Yana, I almost ruined the day, but thanks to Aesop's friendly staff, I feel better again. If you don't want to leave the shopping center feeling bad, go bbw first. Every other store would be better than that

Holiday fragrances have come to Bath & Body Works. As you enter the front of the store, you are greeted by smiling employee and a basket to fill your goodies in. I had a free reward for a hand lotion so I went in for a peek. The store was decked out for the holidays. It's not even Halloween yet, and the shelves were filled with sparkling lights, trees, reindeer and snowman hand sanitizer holders and more. Once in a while, the fragrance filled store is overwhelming and I leave within 15 minutes lol. Today I could handle the crowd and the fragrances. This store had many helpers to answer your questions or to suggest something for you. I picked up my free hand lotion and a few pocket hand sanitizers for later use. The holidays have definitely come to Bath & Body at Ala Moana Center.

I went in to purchase 60% off sale items today at ala moana store! Their clerk put In The Stars on the sale shelf and when i questioned clerk 3885776 a dumb Caucasian gal about why it was not on sale, she replied it's not a fall item! I said its on the 60% sale shelf, i went to take a picture, went back to show her. She replied no it's NOT on sale! I requested to talk to a manager got a gal named Meredith, just as dumb as the first clerk! I said you have to honor the sale, it's not my fault that your clerk, put the wrong item there! Then they called the store manager on the phone, to ask if i could get the sale price! "She finally said just give it to her!" How rude! I have been a loyal customer & have spent thousands of dollars at your store! You guys need to learn how to take care of your customers! I wasted 30 minutes of my precious time... arguing with your clerks! Need to train on CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Irritated customer!

Coming to the store to actually smell what i buy and they have different prices, making me order online so i can get the discount (crazyyy to pay 5$+ for a soap) , waiting for them to receive the order, it takes forever. Here i am done with Bath and Body Works

Frustration Online order pick up!I ordered online on 8/29/23, came to pick up on 9/1/23. As from the picture, it said "Online order pick up here." Thats why I was waiting there with my baby in a stroller! No one came to help, I was there at the same time with other people waiting to check out, I dont ask for priority, I just want someone to tell me that they got me Or they will help me soon! But I was the last to get help! The cashier clerks all ignored me!SO what does this counter mean then? USELESS!Again, I waited there for more than 15-20 mins, they totally ignored us without saying a word, making us feeling so awkward!After all other checked out, Joanna came to get my order finally! She was calm despite my frustration, thats why I give out 1 more star here for her!This store has been my spot all the years since 2015, even during Covid, but from now on, its a No No!VERY DISAPPOINTED!

I love BBW products, however do not like shopping at the Ala Moana store. Every time I want to exchange (not return) an unused product for a different scent, I am given a hard time. They require a government ID bc they cannot seem to find my purchase with my credit card number. I only have one credit card that I use for all my purchases, so it should be found under that credit card. So far, they were not able to find my purchase. Now, I make sure I donʻt throw away my receipt but at the same time I only buy what I know I like. I donʻt even want to try something new bc if I donʻt like it, Iʻll have stress trying to exchange it. Also, I always leave BBW with bags of products but every time I walk into the store they watch me as if I am going to steal something. A couple of times, I was paying at the counter and I wanted to get another product so I decided to grab it really quickly. Two different managers on two different occasions noticed that I was grabbing something and asked the cashier what was going on. The second time this happened, I was standing behind the manager as she was asking the cashier what was going on. I asked the manager what is all the questions for. She turned around and responded with a frown, "I am the manager and just making sure you are okay." I thought to myself, if you wanted to check if I was okay, then wouldnʻt you ask me instead of the cashier. But I replied, "Iʻm good!" As I was walking out, I noticed she walked back to the cashier to talk further with her, with her dismayed body and facial expression. I donʻt care that sheʻs the manager, sheʻs a terrible one at that. I just sold all of my BBW shares (at capital lost) bc every time I go into that store I give it the benefit of the doubt, though every time I leave that store feeling uncomfortable. This is the only store that I love going to for its products, but at the same time hate going to for its management. My poor husband have to listen to my experience every time, and every time leaves him confused to why I always come back to the car upset from BBW. I am an accounting manager in the hotel industry and I know that bad customer service impact the bottom line and brand name.

I tried to ask for a red box with yellow ducks. They said no even tho there was a empty box right infront of me. I really felt like they coudlve give it to me. I had to ask for a box and they still said no. Don't ask for a box because of course the anwser is always no

LYNETTE and MARS literally just turned my frown upside down God bless them. I was like NOW THATS A RADIANT ENERGY!! Laura also briefly interacted with us and seemed to be just as kind!! Aloha. Thank you for this kindness and know that those employees are RARE and delivered 5 STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE and made it worth writing about !! Hallelujah for strong women and companies who prioritize them. Will definitely return!

If you guys stop by this store, make sure you ask for Solara. She is literally the sweetest. She helped us find all the best promos and deals during our stay! Made our visit to Hawaii so worth it ~ thanks for showing us the Aloha spirit

Great service and really good scents I just wish they just lasted longer... For the price I actually think that they should last a lot longer.Pretty much everything I have tried there doesn't last very long. But they really do smell great for a short time.

My husband bought me candles on Candle day and they didn't have the scents I wanted. Just opened them on Xmas day and I wasn't a fan. Therefore he picked some he thought I would like. Unfortunately, I did not like the candles he got. Therefore, as I know for years with their great return and EXCHANGE policy, you can just exchange the candles for the scent you want because they are all priced the same. These are not even seasonal. They're the candles they sell year round. To top it all, the manager that was working on candle day that was in the front, confirmed to him that I can exchange if I end up not liking what he got me. Makes sense, if someone gave these as a gifts and I don't like the smell, you can exchange it. Two cashiers today at Ala Moana at 12/27/22 at 5:38pm (he didn't get their names and so maybe the managers can see who was working) will not do it and said he has to pay the difference. Now they're just making up their own policy and when you go to the website, their policy is there. You can exchange same price for the type of product and ALL candles are not used and can be resold!!! Especially when you're not 100% satisfied. What is going on Bath and Body Works Ala Moana. Why are you making up made up lies on exchanges?

I had to leave this store because I was hassled so much by staff. It was not helpful - it was intrusive. Every product I picked up to try, someone was on me asking me a million questions. I actually had to go to the back of the store to lose one staff member, only to be ambushed by someone else. Far too aggressive.
