Client Advisor Ryan Shinjo was truly exceptional during our recent X5 purchase. He is professional, knowledgeable, chillax, funny, and a great communicator--my wife and I wanted our questions on the various models we tested clearly, confidently, and completely answered, which Ryan was able to do. Ryan was very patient and helpful through our purchase process; and, pleasantly followed up with check-in calls after the purchase to make sure all is well with our new vehicle. Gimmie is the best service advisor. I know they are kind of pricey for service but their service is top notch. Of all the cars I've owned I feel BMW has the best service that I've ever experienced.

This review is for the manager/owner of this business. One of your service cars blew past me in the northbound lane of Kam highway just past Waipio this afternoon enroute to Mililani about 1:15 on 9/21/23. Blue sedan, license plate # 664W. I sped up trying to catch them, doing 51 mph and they were still pulling away from me. Speed limit in that area is 35 mph. Just FYI......police up your people.

I am writing to share my recent experience at your esteemed dealership and express some concerns regarding one of your sales representatives, Mr. Douglas Geyrozaga.On July/August 2023, I had the opportunity to purchase a vehicle from your dealership, an experience that should have been both exciting and seamless. Unfortunately, Mr. Douglas, who assisted me throughout the process, left me with some reservations about the overall experience. I would like to provide feedback to help ensure that others have a smoother and more enjoyable experience in the future. Here are the key issues I encountered: 1) Inaccurate Information: During the purchase process, Mr. Douglas Geyrozaga provided information that later proved to be inaccurate. This led to some confusion and frustration as I realized that the details I had been given did not align with the actual features and specifications of the vehicle.2)Limited Responsiveness: Following the completion of the purchase, I found it challenging to get in touch with Mr. Douglas for assistance with questions and concerns. It seemed that his level of responsiveness diminished once the sale was finalized.3)Professional Presentation: I observed that Mr. Douglas did not maintain the professional appearance and demeanor that one would typically associate with a luxury car dealership. His attire, and overall presentation were not in line with the high standards I expected.4)Manipulative Behavior: During the vehicle appraisal process, I noticed that Mr. Douglas adopted a somewhat manipulative approach, attempting to portray himself as a victim in the negotiation. This behavior left me feeling uncomfortable and led to a lack of trust in the overall transaction.While I understand that every experience can have its challenges, I believe that constructive feedback can contribute to improvements in customer service. My intention in sharing this feedback is to help ensure that others who choose to do business with "BMW of Honolulu" have a more positive and seamless experience.I kindly request that you review this matter and take appropriate steps to enhance the overall customer experience at your dealership. Outstanding customer service. I brought my 2006 330i to BMW of Honolulu for a safety recall, and the crew completed the work promptly and professionally. They even sent me a video of the initial vehicle inspection and kept me informed throughout the safety recall. Thank you, BMW of Honolulu, for the great support!

Everyone was very helpful in all areas and departments. After some negotiations I believe that my husband was happy with the deal, And we were able to get more than I expected for our trade in. They addressed the areas of concern, Detailed the car and filled it with gas. I would recommend BMW of Honolulu.

If you want to be treated like a number and not a customer; this is the place for you. I visited the showroom on three occasions and let the sales associate know how much time I had for each visit. When the time limit was up, he pressured me to stay because his manager wanted him to get me into a vehicle and even told me that he would need to give me permission to leave… My time, resources, and autonomy were not valued.After completing the purchase, I called and requested floor liners for my vehicle. I sent the sales associate the exact product I requested and asked for it to be at the parts counter when I arrived. The associate requested the wrong item from parts and insisted I had asked for floor mats and not the floor liners until I had him review the message with the link to the product I requested.Lastly, I purchased a BMW sun visor for my vehicle from the parts department. After getting home with the product, I tried to install it only to realize it was not the right product for my vehicle. I called the sales associate back to inform them of their error only to be told, “perhaps you should have tried to install it before you left… it’s a snug fit and just try it again.”. Again, my time and resources were not valued. I find the overall atmosphere at BMW of Honolulu to be condescending and unappreciative of their customers. Only after showing visible frustration and putting my foot down did the associate offer to order the correct product for my vehicle.I do not recommend this company and do not believe it accurately represents the corporate standards of BMW. I did not appreciate being demeaned and treated like a child on multiple occasions..- Jakki in the parts department is the exception to this toxic dealership. She is a constant professional and is eager to help when asked.- Dennis in finance was also incredibly helpful. He not only valued my business but also my time as we expediently but thoroughly navigated the closure process.I am happy to discuss this review with BMW of Honolulu’s leadership team if they require additional information on my experience.

Terrible service, crappy "complimentary" car wash (what luxury car dealership returns dirty, smudged cars?!), poor response time, and awful loaner car service. This dealership has deterred me so much I'm going to trade in my BMW.

We came in on Friday to look at the X3 inventory and met with Marlon. He was very professional, helpful and knowledgeable. After taking a test drive, we decided to purchase the X3. We came back on Saturday to pick up the vehicle (after ceramic application) and met Nathan who did an excellent job in giving us a detailed and informative tutorial about the vehicle. We love driving our new BMW X3.

Surprisingly easy and pleasant experience taking my car in. Being a first time BMW owner, I didn’t know what to expect when bringing my car in for service at the dealership. From getting an appointment sooner than I expected, to the easy and organized intake process, the attention and responsiveness from my service advisor, Kainoa, and the cleanliness and refreshments of the waiting area, I was pleasantly surprised. I also anticipated some wrangling over warranty, which there was none, and they even comped a safety check, vacuum and cleaning.

I enjoyed my experience shopping at BMW for the most part, thanks to my salesman Doug. He was very welcoming and very friendly. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle I purchased and was very upfront about the pricing, which made the stressful process of buying a vehicle very pleasant. The only real issue I had is that when I arrived, no one greeted me as I walked in despite having several employees at the front door. I nearly walked out and took my business elsewhere after walking around the dealership waiting for someone to say least acknowledge my presence. Doug really made my experience worth it and he's a great salesman. If you ever shop at BMW, be sure to ask for him specifically because he will take care of you.

BMW Honolulu hands down has the best service department. They truly go above and beyond for their customers. From drop off to pick up they stay connected with you throughout the service so you know exactly what’s going on and get a pretty good time frame when your vehicle will be ready. They also make great suggestions on other service needs to help prevent future issues.

Friendly receptive staff. Brett our Client Advisor was very helpful in answering any questions we had and made our experience pleasant and cordial. The closing process with him was very efficient; as sometimes dealerships take a while to get paperwork done.Their staff even went out of the way to drive to our house to pick up a check, so that we didn't have to drive all the way back into town. ?
