This place is the only cigar bar you can enjoy indoors on the island. Despite that, I would have preferred to go there for the chill atmosphere and great cigar selection. Their cocktails are prepared well and the service was excellent. I definitely recommend.

Good cigar selection but didn’t stay to smoke since you need to be a member or pay 25 $ to stay. Not easy to find. It’s on second level

Finding Brix and Stones feels like stumbling upon a secret that Instagram influencers and Fortune 500 executives share but never quite reveal. Tucked above an auto repair shop in Honolulu's Kakaako district, this cigar lounge transforms the simple act of finding the entrance into an adventure worthy of your Stories.
Navigate through a chain-link fence past Tesla carcasses, climb unmarked stairs, and suddenly you're transported from industrial Honolulu into what feels like a cross between a Manhattan speakeasy and your most stylish friend's living room. Exposed brick walls catch warm light from industrial fixtures, while cognac leather chairs beg for both post-yoga selfies and post-merger handshakes.
The $25 day pass grants access to Hawaii's only indoor cigar sanctuary, where floor-to-ceiling humidors display rare selections that would make tobacco aficionados weep. Whether you're celebrating a promotion or simply want to try something your yoga instructor definitely doesn't know about, the staff guides newcomers through an impressive collection of premium cigars with the patience of sommeliers and the enthusiasm of that friend who always knows the coolest spots.
Multiple flat-screens keep sports fans engaged while maintaining an atmosphere sophisticated enough for serious business conversations. The European spirits collection—highlighted by vintage Fernet-Branca artwork—appeals to adventurous palates seeking Instagram-worthy beverages that pair beautifully with both Cuban tobacco and good gossip.
This isn't your grandfather's cigar shop or your typical girls' night destination, yet somehow it works perfectly for both. The carefully curated playlist, comfortable seating arrangements, and genuinely knowledgeable staff create an environment where a group celebrating a bachelorette party feels as welcome as executives sealing deals over rare Cohibas.
While reservations are recommended, the welcoming reality is more flexible—walk-ins on weeknight evenings often find space in this genuinely approachable sanctuary. In a city where most indoor smoking venues disappeared years ago, Brix and Stones offers something genuinely unique: a space where sophistication meets accessibility, where premium products meet approachable service, and where both suited professionals and athleisure enthusiasts can discover something unexpectedly delightful about themselves.
The real magic happens in those moments when barriers dissolve—when the yoga instructor finds herself genuinely curious about bourbon pairings, or when the hedge fund manager admits he's never tried a proper cigar before. Brix and Stones doesn't just sell tobacco and spirits; it creates experiences that transcend typical social boundaries, making it Honolulu's most democratically exclusive destination.

Fantastic spot for wine and cigars. The ventilation is excellent. I don't smoke, but the fumes and smoke were not strong because of the ventilation. The wine selection and wine cellar are grand. There is an additional bar in the basement of the establishment. Expect to pay a higher price, but the service and selection are well worth it.

I've come here several times with friends to enjoy a cigar and conversation. I appreciate the aesthetic and ambiance Brix & Stones provides. They provide a robust cigar variety and an adequate wine and liquor selection. I appreciate their policy allowing outside liquor and food. $75 fee for outside whiskey is steep, but I still appreciate the policy exists. Service is fantastic of course. I highly recommend this lounge for cigar enthusiasts and anyone interested in exploring cigar culture amongst friends.

First, it should be called a speakeasy because it is nearly impossible to find. This cigar bar is not public. You are required to pay a $25 entrance fee per person. And the review about 6 months ago about racism is real. My husband and I went, and after finding out about the $25 entrance fee, we decided to just buy some cigars. As we waited for them to cut them for us, we waited in the front waiting area. When immediately another girl rushes from the back to close the door to the cigar room. Ummmm ma’am, we were waiting for the cigars we purchased. So no need to treat us like we were gonna steal. Pro tip……Most racist people don’t recognize they are racist.
