“First off: it's on the second floor at SALT, so despite having walked around many times, I'd never noticed this and had to find it in Yelp then search it out. There are 4 stools at a counter looking down on the plaza below. The drink selection is limited; some fresh lemonade would be nice, and pretty easy to add. The onion burger starts with onions in the grill, then the burger meat smashed onto them. It’s a patty melt—they then melt cheese onto it. It was pretty much medium-well, I guess the only option given the way they cook it, which was fine, but you won’t be asked how you want it cooked.Food was ready in about 5 minutes, so it's quick. There are tables down below that are usually pretty full, but people come and go pretty quickly. There’s mostly metered parking in the neighborhood.”

“just spoke with bobby. his parents own the place. I didnt know they do this until i worked a t catering company that ordered a whole chinese style roasted PIG! I ordered it for my brotheres 50th bday and the ervice was excellent. cant wait to pick it up. best party potluck show stopping addition to any party. check them out. ill post pics soon thank you chuns!”

“it can be a bit unfair for these high quality sushi guys to do poke since poke is more of a choice from fish markets + food markets. BUT, there is no denying their poke is one of the best on the islands because they are sushi guys with high standards. the ume + shiso is out of this world!”

Wet brings a burst of sweet and savory, while dry offers a straightforward spam flavor.The spam musubi here at Middle Street Market is a dry version giving it a straightforward spam experience where the spam is the star giving it a clean, classic spam flavor. The same technique is applied to their red hotdog musubi.That being said the spam musubi here lives up to my expectations and more. the rice was fluffy and well cooked while the nori held everything nicely together. The portion is the normal size of any other spam musubi. Overall I would definitely recommend Middle Street Market because I know I will be back.”

“This Whole sell place located right on Waikamilo in the heart of Kalihi, they are the place to get you meats and seafood. All their Ahi is caught here locally and cut daily. They also have a variety of Meats to choose from, so if you are a back yard cook or a pro chef... check them out for pricing. They sell whole sale and retail, walk ins welcome and they do take EBT. Best to call ahead or just go in and talk to the ladies in the office to the left hand side when you go in.”
