- don’t go here if you want a super fast car wash. They take about 45min to do a basic inside and out was for $35 and do an amazing job. Enjoy the wait, the results are worth it.”

“Recommend by a friend, I took my car to Bo's for wash, and wax package. They did an awesome job cleaning my car inside and out. I recently shipped my car from the mainland, ran it through one of those drive thru carwash just to get the heavy stuff off. The car was still filthy! I usually wash/wax and detail my own car because lot of places do a sloppy job. Not Bo's, they exceeded my expectations and worth it! I have a black car which is hard to keep clean, the car was sparkling when I picked it up. Mahalo nui for a job well done. Will be back for sure.”

“This used to be at the Finance Factors Building on Bishop but it is now above the Pacific Honda Dealership at Capitol Plaza. How to get here: Drive up Alakea, pass Beretania, stay in left lane, make first left turn on side street makai of Central Intermediate School (S Kukui). Take the first ramp up on left to the second floor where you will see Honda logo. Enter, turn right and keep going as far as you can. My car is the stereotypical old lady car. It is 7 years old and has under 14,000 miles. We call it the garage decoration.This is my second time using this service. The first time, I had totally abused the car to store, donate, move, and relocate items during a renovation project. The car was filthy with dirt, leaves and scratch marks. This time, I had spilled some very horrible things on the upholstery and I thought the car was slightly dirty and could use a detail. When I picked up the car the first time, I knew my car was filthy so maybe that's why I wasn't so wowed. But when I picked up the car this time, it was so clean and pristine, I didnt realize how filthy it was until I had it detailed. Maybe this is like your not realizing how fat you are, even though the scale and pants size are moving up, untill you see a photo of yourself. They also did a paint correction on my trunk which had all these scratches from an unknown source. Tiki (fabuluous, professional and courteous) explained that the unknown source was probably me. Lesson learned. I am more careful when removing items from the trunk. Highly recommend the service and would definitely use them again.Thanks!”

“The staff does great work when you can get it scheduled. I had a car on order and made an appointment to get it wrapped via their website. Unfortunately, they don't seem to check their online booking system because I didn't have an appointment; they were all on vacation. You have to call to get an appointment and the lead time to get one is long. I had to drive my new car for five weeks before they could take my car. Having said that, they do excellent work and my car looks great. It took little more than a week to apply the Kavaca and then apply the ceramic coating. What was painful was having to keep it clean and dry for two weeks afterward (as recommended in the material received from them). Living in Kaneohe made that especially challenging. If they would improve their responsiveness, especially their online system, I would give them an unconditional endorsement. As of now, I like what they've done but they need to check all of their channels: phone, web and mobile. I texted them asking about the Americana Global sprays that they recommend but no one responded. I ended up finding a company on the mainland and ordered the recommended sprays. It would have been nice to pick it up from Auto Perfection.”

“I used it to refuel a rental car on October 8, 2024. I was quite tired from driving in Hawaii for the first time (and my English skills were poor), so I looked for a full service service (only refueling by the staff, no window cleaning, etc.), even if it was a little expensive, and found this stand. I did.
The stand is divided into self-service and full-service, so don't hesitate to go for full-service. There was no staff to guide me, but as soon as I parked in front of the refueling machine, a staff member came over.
The clerk was either of Japanese descent or Japanese, and he asked me, ``Are you full?'' I was told, ``Fill up, with your card,'' and I was able to refuel just like in Japan. (I don't know if there are always staff who can speak Japanese...)
I haven't compared the market prices on that day, but I don't think there was that much difference in price even with full service. I didn't get the impression that it was very expensive.
It is a convenient location close to Waikiki and Ala Moana Center, so it is recommended for those who are worried about refueling in Hawaii.”

“This place is small but do they know their detailing! I recently purchased a shiny new black car that needs to continue to stay that way in my eyes. When I came by the shop I had alot of questions that the owner did not feel irritated answering me. There was no push to sell products. He seem happy just to give me the knowledge, give his recommendations, but ultimately I purchased what I wanted and needed. Love love love their CarPro series products! They can also do ceramic coating!”

“Arrived a bit past 8a on a Monday. No line. $24 for a manual spray down and soap followed by a trip thru the machine. Unlike McKinley car wash I don’t think they offer an interior vacuum. But I do think the exterior was cleaner due to the prewash.”

“Texaco is great on gas prices and on car washes my favorite is Kapolei next to Wendy's but I also visit the Kalihi one on Waikamilo Street and the other one on North King St in Kalihi. My favorite to buy is the pizza inside Kapolei Texaco also cornuts sunflower seeds and those ice cream sandwiches there famous for Uncle's so worth every penny. The service is great all over the island of Oahu sometimes I just like going here to gas up no lines like Costco. I enjoy all the Texaco's I'm always purchasing gift cards for gas for my family members and friends too. There's so much good stuff to buy from drinks to snacks you name it they probably carry it Spam too.”

“I've been coming to Kustoms 808 for a while now and whenever I arrive Jerry and his wife are always there to great you with a smile. Jerry's warm and welcoming personality always takes away the stress of buying a new used car. Let's be open and honest, whenever you walk onto a used car lot, usually the sales people seem like they're tripping over each other trying to get you to buy a car. That is not the case with Kustoms808. They let you take all the time you need to think about things and you definitely do not feel pressured in Amy way whatsoever. Honestly,it feels like your just visiting friends and hanging out. If you're looking for a used car I would definitely recommend Kustom's 808.”

A long tradition to do at the end of the year is get your car washed and here at Don's Makiki Service having a drive thru car wash is so convenient with not many similar services like this in town at such a great price I was aware yet constantly forgetting it's there. There can be a long line here but is very fast and efficient than they other guys down the street where it is a process and is a plus to get it vacuumed but if you just need to get it washed this a great option to do so. The staff here is efficient and friendly and the price you just can't beat, the days of drive thru efficiency is a luxury thing I'm grateful for and here in Makiki it a service that is given with ease to take care of what has taken such great care you me.
