I wish they can explain more... How's that I was help by another agency in 2010 and I applied in 2023 again because they open up again for rental assistance but they say I'm not approved because they help in 2010.... Wish they tell that earlier so I would know and not be behind my bills... ?????

State says people can recertification if you have 15 mos or less. I’ve put in my recertification app save day and exact time applications were being accepted. I keep asking for follow up but I keep getting bogus answers. This place needs to be investigated for internal fraud or Audited. They help “Who they want to help” and don’t let this organization fool you. When you call the State of Hawaii they give opposite answers from charities. Very dissapointed and hurt at the rude misleading staff they have. Makes no sense why recertification have to even wait months when Catholic charities already have personal info. PUBLIC BEWARE!!!!

I'm not sure how this program got the rent and utilities contract. They NEVER answer any phones, all voicemails is full, they don't respond to texts or emails. Been trying to get help and no response for 4 weeks. So how exactly is the payments getting out? Don't know where else to call.

Oh my god….words can’t describe how much I am feeling blessed by this organization right now. They were the only financial help I got throughout the whole pandemic. They helped me be able to save for school last year and then are helping me again while I’m in school. If it weren’t for them I would never have been able to get my career path going. Forever grateful for what they have done. If you do your part and put in the effort with the paperwork and stay patient they will work with you. I read some of the other reviews and seems like some people were denied. Be patient and have the right documents. I just got my confirmation email. Have faith and just stay strong Hawaii.
