This is the worst branch. The doorman was really nice. Got to the teller. Asked her if I could deposit into an account but I don't have the account number. She said if I'm not on the account she can't look it up. I normally have the number but forgot to bring it. First time at this branch. I normally go to Waipahu or Mililani. She didn't even try to help me get to yes. No wonder it's rated low....

Bank employee seemed apathetic to my needs of opening up a new account with them. Bank seemed unorganized with long lines. I opened up an account with American Savings Bank after CPB refused to help me in a timely manner. ASB had better service and the branch was cleaner and more organized.

Good customer service, but they rejected my loan application. Sp, minus one star for that.

The tellers were fantastic considering this is a much smaller bank. They had the same number of tellers like First Hawaiian and the lines weren't as long. They actually greeted you and smiled unlike the the other banks. I appreciated the fact that they actually asked if there was anything else I needed help with. I would highly recommend this bank if you're like me that like the service you received.

Went in wanting to open a new account and taking out another mortgage for a rental property I wanted to buy. I asked if I could use the restroom before we started and they said no. Literally lost my business over a bathroom. Sad

I used to go to the Kapahulu safeway branch but since they closed I go more often to this one on king st which is still close to me and very convenient. All the times I've been here, lines are not long, if it is it goes by fairly quick and I've never had problems or issues. Competent friendly staff and some of the Kapahulu branch tellers has moved here so it's nice to see familiar faces. Been with cpb over 10 years I think. Still good! I will say the new app is cool but wish it still showed my balance after each transaction. I have to either go in person since i opted out of receive paper statements or I gotta calculate myself which isn't hard to do but.. Oh well.

There was once upon a hanabata time when I worked part time weekends at Kozo Sushi to make some pocket money. My hands always smelled like vinegar water and dried rice was always stuck in the cracks of my worn out doc marten boots. Kozo asked me to open a bank account so they could direct deposit paycheck into my account. I decided to open up an account at the City Bank that used to be at this CPB location. Life with City Bank was awesome. No complaints. However, once CPB flexed its muscles and swallowed up City Bank I was made their customer by default. I have never been happy with CPB. My dad once questioned why they spent so much advertising money on the lassie dog commercials. Fiercely loyal? Remember those? It's one thing to say you have great service, but if the staff at your individual branches come to work dragging butt and show stink eye to your customers, ppl are not stoopid and will get the point. Heck this branch got robbed plenty times already and was on the news. Probably bc of all the batoo tweakers who occupied old stadium park, the baseball diamond behind the former-star market and up and down the lanes and alleys of Moiliili. Btw, CPB's banking App is a joke! That thing so glitchy and gets updated so many times since I began using it. It seems they saved money and hired monkey butt fools to make their app. Hawai'i crab bucket, nepotism, oppressed becomes the oppressor, beaten as a child will beat own children old boy hawaii syndrome. Gotta love it. Sometimes I just want to throw my phone across the room onto a concrete wall to smash my phone! Have you tried setting up your password and "secret questions" before? I am like $i#really@HaTeCPB!!! - ooops it seems your password is too long, please try again! (Repeat error message 4 times before app gets locked out) finally I wrote down all my security/secret sauce questions, but once I travel and need to deposit a check and the challenge questions fails, it asks me to update "where do I work?" I type Honolulu, then da following message is you have been locked out, please call digital banking to update your personal details - Bu Laia says: ahhh c'mon, kill me alreddddy anyways, the silver linings/only saving grace is that a staff named "Princess" who took the phone call to help unlock my password was very patient and kind. She walked me through setting up a password that the banking app FINALLY accepted. ***promote Princess you lazy bank managers, she is golden!***. Keep staff like her, sack all da rest! CPB pls don't take your customers for granted. Plenty banks going online these days and customers investing in Bitcoin instead. Banking as we old futts know it is an endangered species. Your days are numbered. Once the banking system as YOU know it gets disrupted, you'll be out of work and sorry that you had not walked the talk you shoved down the ppls' throats with your fiercely loyal banking BS. Please get your act together. Answer the Public!!!

Opened a new account with David at the Moiliili branch and had such a pleasant experience. He was able to see me right away and helped me open a new checking with ease while never compromising to provide the essential information regarding the account. On this visit, i was able to open the account, make a deposit, order checks and even got my debit card in less than 25 minutes! I chose to go with the most basic account, it was reassuring to know I'd made the best choice for me at this time. While normally at the Manoa branch, I learned David was moved to this location during the current covid-19 situation.

Thank you so much to Lisa Kimoto and the team for really taking care of me over here. They really went above and beyond to make sure I could complete my transactions in the time needed. I had a little complicated situation, but they were very friendly, helpful, and even stayed open past closing to make sure I was taken care of. All the staff here are excellent and have really great attitudes. This is a hidden gem in McCully area!

The bank refuse to return my money. They refuse to cooperate. Refuse to admit that they gave away my monthly statement to strangers at Ala Moana park. The bank do not do as I request. The bank refuse to listen to me every time I go there. The rude and obnoxious and direspectful. The bank alter my account without my consent and knowledge. The bank had cut off my debit card and block me from any attempts to retrieve MY money. They gave false misleading statements. Gave excuses and impossible demands to justify there intent to steal all of my money. The bank employee Nina White manipulate my account type. The waipahi branch manipulated my address and account information. The pearl city branch argue with me. The kalihi branch block me from my money. The main branch has stolen my money and gave me the run around , and false excuses. The woman ms.Leasiolagi wants to keep my money after I die. She will make excuse to give me a hard time like all the other staff of all the branches. The bank gives me a hard time about anything I do or request of. The takes money from account holders. Everything the bank tells me is false and mislead me on a wild goose chase. They have never been accommodating. They are not to be trusted with anyone's money. They have not portray any integraty or reliability nor trustworthy to me since day one of my account. They neglected to disclose their accounting balance in my account. They refuse to disclose to me what they did to my account and money. They refuse to cooperate in tracing down the trail and where about and fraudulent merchant routed my money to in Florida. Refues to release any record of the transaction to me nor cooperate with the consumer protection nor the with the sun state Florida BBB and comerece department of Florida. They would rather I die and go away so they have an excuse to keep my money and erase any trace of my account.

My mom had a stroke and I had to handle all of her banking using a power of attorney. Had some trouble at Bank of Hawaii with delays but worked with Gloria at CPB and she helped me get all my business done in a timely fashion. She follows through and delivers on her promises. I'm thinking about moving all of my banking to CPB.
