At the end of the day, your money is not your own. Through a misnomer third party operation they call fraud prevention, they trip you up and block your card if you spend your money at a disapproved entities/locations. Despite all my best efforts, they messed me up twice and I am now ready to throw in the towel. Bring me a bank that does not make me miserable with their digital overlord activities!!!!

Called CPB today to have a change of beneficiary for my checking account. I was asked so many questions re: the account. After spending all that time on the phone, customer service tells me that I need to go back to the bank to have this done in person. If this is the policy why didn't she tell me at the beginning when I explained my request. I told her I want to register a complaint because I was so upset but I could not find out where to write or send a note. I've changed beneficiary with other companies and all they did was send me a form to sign. HSF

Waste of time. I came to kaimuki branch on Monday 10/24 at 2pm, waited in line for half and hour then was told the person who opens new account was “on a break that took longer”, “if you can come back in an hour “. This tells you how much they care. One star for the teller being nice.

They kicked my husband out for no reason not just an account a business account. A business that is in good standing for now 20 years at the time around 10. He had no problem finding a new bank and neither will I. If they don't like you they make up stores about policies they can't back. A bank the wasted my time and didn't value me as a long time customer.

Need a notary? Not all branches have one. Luckily Waialae has Vey Okutsu. She was thorough, quick, efficient and pleasant. Call to schedule your appointment. It was so fast and easy.

Just cashed my check and there's a couple of rude male tellers. That's really amusing to see these clowns saying s*** but can't back up. Other CPB is usually good but this Waialae branch has a lot of cowards and petty clowns if you're gonna talk s*** say it to my face and don't look away and talk under your breath you look stupid with your shaved head and saying all that s*** tells me you bring your insecurities to work and have to talk s*** in an indirect manner you two beta males cucks

The tellers here are so friendly, there's hardly ever a line and there is parking which we all know if a pain in the butt in Hawaii.

I posted a review a while ago regarding the over all service at CPB, which is always great. But i'd like to add a fews years ago , my family and I were going through a extreamly difficult time. during this time I had absent mindedly forgotten to make a payment(s) on one of my accounts. I wrote a letter to CPB explaining my circumstances and if anything could be done, admittedly it was all my oversight. I received a phone call from Carole Kumai from CPB. Carole was very sincere about my situation and she made me feel very comfortable as I explained why I was past due. she had mentioned that reviewing my letter with her team, Carole acknowledged I was going through what many house holds go through in our crazy lives and immediately explained the good news and bad news of my banking problem and put me in touch with Thong Songvilay (since retired) a bank manager who would help me get back on track. Thong was also just as helpful and professional in this process. I was and am still sincerely touched by Carole Kumai and her team for their efforts and support during that bad season in my family life. I realize CPB could have just gone by the book ( it was my fault) but CPB truly cared and have shown through their conversation and efforts that they did care and helped me.

I only come to the location since it's 2 mins from my house. But this teller with the name tag "Bo" commented on my Korean name and when I said I don't speak Korean, she told me "that's bad" and asked me why I don't change my name. I've never experienced such racism, feeling offended by my nationality and name, especially by a Korean. So. Disappointed.

I went here to drop off my parents check... at 9:54am on a Saturday. I understand they don't open until 10:00. All three clerks were at there desk and I was noted by a clerk named David that "we open at 10." He was SO rude and disrespectful. No smiles. Not even a hello or sorry. I was so taken aback by his rude customer service I can't believe it.

Everyone knows you. Their staff turnover is so low! It helps if you forget your ID.
