Chinatown Cultural Plaza is a shopping mall and cultural center in Honolulu where history and Asian culture come together. The open square provides a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for the community, where people can have meals, entertainment, or do morning exercises like tai chi. The entire Chinatown is buzzing with life. It is a popular destination where locals and tourists can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine, including very delicious dim sum at the restaurants inside. The environment is generally crowded from morning until early afternoon. The center court has not changed, and there appear to be lots of renovations coming in the shopping area, with some construction zones. There is a parking lot, making it easy to visit by car, though it is better to go during daylight hours.
