City Square Shopping Center offers a variety of shops and many restaurants, including Pancakes and Waffles, Chef's Ramen, Sugoi, Jay's Sushi, Utage, Shaka Shaka Tea Express, Aunty's Ukay Ukay, and Young's Fish Market. There is a farmer’s market with fresh papayas at the best price, and grocery shopping is cleaner and safer than in Chinatown. The center also has Chuck E. Cheese, Kamehameha Bakery, Charms Culture, From the Heart, and Kalihi Pet Center. Ample parking is available but can be challenging at times, so going early helps. The variety helps take care of many shopping needs in one place.

I always come to the Marketplace here for fresh papayas. It’s like a farmer’s market. They have the best price ($1/lb, $0.5/lb for overripe) and always fresh and delicious.
