One word - POKE If you're on vacation and you're trying to keep your expenses low this place is a must for food specifically for the amazing poke selection. We came here at least 3 times because I LOVE the poke here. Ahi limu, ahi shoyu, secret ahi spicy, hawaiian style, and and smoked salmon are just some of the varieties they have. They even have lomi lomi and tako as well. They were all so delicious. Why can't we have a similar grocery store in the states that does this as well-- just ain't the same just buying a poke bowl. Here I can get a whole gallon of just pure poke! Besides the poke, this place a wonderful grocery store. We found pancake mix and mac nuts to take back home as souvenirs. When you're here, don't forget to pick up some malasadas at Leonard's bakery, which is 5 minutes away from here!

Ever since we discovered Foodland, we seek it out anytime we're visiting the islands. My wife really enjoys their fresh poke, which is sold by the pound. It's typically priced at $11.99/lb or $9.99/lb if you buy 2+ pounds at a time. Either way, this is significantly cheaper than restaurants or even other local grocery stores like Safeway. We also shop here for Hawaiian snacks, beverages and souvenirs since they sometimes have different varieties than the big box stores. One of our favorites is the haupia that is sold at the back of the store in skinny/flattish 16 oz trays. It's the only place we've been able to find pre-made haupia outside of a luau!

It's okay to be skeptical about poke from a grocery store, but don't knock it till you've had it. For both quality and price, Foodland was undoubtedly our favorite go-to for poke. There's a number of options available and you can also order it without the rice by the half pound/pound! It was our first time, so I informed the employee of such and he walked us through how their bowls and poke worked. Very helpful and welcoming!

Bestttt Poke and it's from the grocery store! Tbh I think Foodland has one of the greatest poke on the island! You can either buy the poke per pound or make it a bowl with rice! They have a wide variety of poke, from oyster, tako, salmon, or ahi with different types from shoyu, to spicy and or kimchi!!!!!! Sooooooo pick and choose that your heart and tastebuds desires! My go to are the shoyu, and spicy!!! It's just classic and can never go wrong! The tako and oyster poke are delicious too!!! Soooooo yummy just thinking about it makes me salivate and crave for some poke! The other plus on top of picking up some poke is buying some groceries. So you can get your lunch or dinner while knocking out your grocery shopping at Foodland! It's a win win type of situation! I also love picking up some local lihing mui candies!!! So if you want some delicious poke, buy some groceries, and come to Foodland!

It's a grocery store where in the back, there's the seafood section you can get a variety of poki. I recommend the special spicy poki, which we got in a half pound container. You don't need rice with it honestly. Their poke is sectioned off by what is most popular, what has never been frozen, and others.

Truly the holy grail of Oahu poke. Everyone has their own opinion of the best poke on the island and it's all debatable. My bf and I came to a consensus that this one in fact blows it all out of the water...more specifically this location!! We also got the chance to try Foodland Ala Moana (which is busier, has alot more people) but imo, THIS friends is the pinnacle of poke. Poke in Hawaii for the most part is fresh. When seeking out the best poke, it's all about the seasoning. In the salmon poke, I believe they use sesame oil and kukui nut for multiple layers of subtle, yet deep flavor. That salmon poke is a straight up national treasure. The octopus (tako) poke is equally amazing and we tried the marlin poke which was the "catch of the day" and a rare catch! I highly recommend grabbing a bag of Have'a Corn Chips to pair with your poke. Soooo good.

Good service! I mean, I think everyone knows by now that if you're in Hawaii Foodlan is the place to visit. My husband and I stopped by a couple times during our time in Hawaii for some simple snacks and they did not disappoint. If you're in the Waikiki area, stop by and check them out. Pick up a couple things and I am almost certain you won't be disappointed.

This new location of Foodland reminded me of Whole Foods and Sprouts from home, so cool! So many options and their poke was super fresh! Totally taste the difference in the fish between here and back at home, specifically the Tuna. I also came home with a poke souvenir shopping tote! My last one was of musubi.

I LOVE shopping at Foodland! I shop there at least twice a week. But yesterday I was sorely disappointed in my keto salmon salad. Lettuce and cucumbers were slimy and brown.

Always aloha spirit here! Great place to get your poke fix. You can have your choice of fresh fish or previously frozen fish poke. Fresher is always pricier but never a factor in my choice. We always get new shopping bags. Great as gift bags for friends in the mainland. Sometimes I'll get a musubi or something like that to snack on.

The poke here is an amazing value. If you come during peak hours there's going to be a line but it's worth the wait!

Foodland has a wide variety of poke for a good price. We went 1 hour before closing and they still had a great selection of poke. We were able to feed 18 people without breaking the bank. We particularly enjoyed the salmon furikake and the ahi limu poke. I recommend foodland for poke at a reasonable rice!

This is a good foodland to go to as it's one of few near Honolulu. This foodland is difficult to park sometimes and gets busy. It's generally clean. The prices and selection here is why you come here. Poke is always consistent and reasonable. Overall, a good Foodland for groceries. Pros: Selection, prices Cons: Parking Stars: 4.25

Love this market. I wish I had more time to visit more. Only went 2 times in a week. My husband and I were like kids in a candy store. They had so many varieties of poky and cooked food. I don't have pictures but their keto salad was delicious even after been sitting in the fridge overnight. We just bought poke, masubi and other stuff to eat by the pool.
