As you know, everyone knows a realtor, friends, family, etc. I needed a realtor to help my sister buy a condo in Hawaii, she been living in Las Vegas for the past 25 years. My good friend referred me to Sissy . Some day she will be moving back here to Hawaii. 2023 is the time to buy real-estate. Because of the interest rate is higher, people cannot afford the mortgage. In 2021 & 2022 there were a bidding war on any property you were interested to buy. Not anymore for 2023. Found a nice Condo, got $50,000 off asking price. Closed in 2-months. Since my sister lives in Las Vegas, I did all the negotiations, her job was to wire the money and sign documents on her phone, apparently because she not a Tec person she doesn't know how to sign the legal paperwork and send it back to Hawaii. That where Sissy Sosner came in, she actually called another realtor to help my sister, The other realtor drove to my sister house to help her, Now that what I call customer service. She did pretty much everything to make the transaction very easy. I highly recommend her if you need a realtor. Aloha, Derek

Julie Kahiapo has been an exceptional realtor for us. We have been looking for a home for over 4 years and we're quite frustrated with the process, the cost of housing, and the competitive market. My husband and I just bought our first home, a condo in Kaneohe, and Carole Manuwa was a godsend!! We were renting and had no intention of buying in this crazy market, that was of course until our landlord decided to cash in and sell. Then we were scrambling. Carole worked so hard for us and I know other clients at the same time, and her experience and guidance made all the difference. She was a big reason we closed on our third offer, even though there were 9 offers and ours wasn't even the highest. If you're looking for a realtor who knows all the ins and outs, will work their butt off for you and is an exceptional person then ask for Nancy Nino. We began our process in Jun to sell our home in Ewa Beach and just purchased a new home in Kaneohe last week. Not only was Nancy detail oriented and attuned to our needs as sellers, she had it sold fast and we closed in early August. After such a great experience there was no question that she was our #1 choice to help us find a new home. She was always available to answer our questions day or night and weekends too, she made herself available for numerous repeat visits to properties until we landed on one we loved. She was so thorough in the purchase process and always ahead of schedule to keep us on time with our 45 day closing. Nancy makes buying a house seem easy. Raymond Kang helped us sell our townhouse in Ewa Beach. He did a bunch of open houses and even did them several times when we were in escrow. He even recommended we sell it for more than we thought we should and of course he was right! He then helped us buy a condo in downtown. My husband and I could not have been more blessed to have Caroline Faringer as our realtor. We recently purchased a condo in downtown Honolulu and could not be any happier with our new home. She was our first and so far our only realtor and experience in home buying and we can only dream that our future purchases and sales go as smoothly as the process with Caroline. With no previous knowledge of the market and home buying processes, Caroline was BEYOND patient with myself and my husband in answering our calls, texts, emails and 5,000 questions daily. She showed us exactly what we wanted that was available on the market and made us branch out to places and areas that we never thought we would like, but ended up loving. She is incredibly knowledgeable, resourceful, experienced and professional. She drove us all around Honolulu multiple days for multiple weeks until I finally realized what I was looking for the most. She narrowed down areas and homes and helped us to identify the problems and hidden problems that we need to know as first time buyers. Do NOT rent from James Lewis, one of the realtors in this office. After 3 years of renting with not one late payment (even when my husband was out of work for 4 months), he and his wife decided to sell the apartment we had been renting. We were given less than 2 days notice that the apartment was to be listed. Many things were not fixed in a timely fashion during our 3 year stay, some dragging on longer than a year. We could not use a window for over a year, one of the overhead lights and two of the ceiling fans for many months. Though he said he would work with us and help us in any way possible, in fact it was just the opposite. With such short notice, we were strapped for cash for a new deposit/rent and moving expenses. When I verbally let him know our approximate move out date, I was told no problem, just give as much notice as possible. In fact, he decided to disregard that agreement, held our security deposit for the maximum number of legally allowable days, and held us for rent and late payment fees and bogus cleaning charges to keep as much of our security deposit as possible. Nothing illegal, just really greedy and inconsiderate. I hope keeping our money was worth all the ill will he and his wife have now generated. Use caution.
