Hands down, best food truck and arguably the best place to get food period. They are always very friendly and accommodating. I have tried multiple different items from their menu but my favorite is their chicken Katsu. Always very juicy and tender and their sauce is the best. Based on my experiences, I would feel confident recommending anything on their menu, even those that I haven't tried yet. Do go early though, as they sell out quick, which isn't surprising. They accept cash or card, which is also very convenient. It's always about a 15 minute walk to get there and 15 minutes to get back, but it's always worth it. Prices are also very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food that you get. Awesome and would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Honolulu, Hawaii - who knew there were so many awesome lunch plates on UH campus?! Well now you do! Finally ventured onto campus where @sistahtruck busts out some seriously satisfying grubs. In a big yellow truck right outside the UH engineering building, MWF 10-2pm, (check out their insta and DM to know other times and locations) you can check out Eunjoo and Mila make some of the crispiest chicken katsu, with a side of creamy mushroom gravy, ($9.50) huge juicy burgers ($13.50) and local faves like loco moco ($12.50)and bibimbap ($9.50). Folks who like fat crinkle cut fries - garlic butter fries are for you! And the kimchi fries have lot o kimchi that went well with the katsu and savory stuff. Fast, hidden, special. Worth the venture onto campus and $2 per half hour on meter near building #yummyinmytummy #grobusteats #lunch #foodtruck #hawaiisbestkitchens #locomoco #sistahtruck #chickenkatsu #fries #visitoahu #rainbows #gobows #universityofhawaii #uhmanoa #superbowlparty #zipkick #frolichawaii #foodporn #foodbeast #eeeeeats #buzzfeedfood #tasty #traveltoeat #hawaii #luckytolivehawaii #koreanfood #koreangirls #awesome

Amazing garlic butter fries. Best fries I've had in awhile. I had my friend taste the fries and it was gone before I knew it. Buy extra!

This is a lunch wagon located on campus here at the University of Manoa. Right next to the POST building here on campus. I believe food trucks are here on an annual school year basis because last year there was a Mexican food truck there. Two sisters run this food truck. One took the orders and dispensed them and the other pretty much cooked. I had the bibimbap at $9. You can chose between brown rice and white rice. I chose brown. When I got the bowl, there was a good amount of beef and vegetables. Not too much vegetables like a lot of places would give more veggies than meat itself. The meat was easy to eat and not as if you were trying to bite into it and be pulling apart the meat with your teeth. Flavor is ono. I don't eat a whole lot of starch, but whenever I eat this bibimbap bowl, I find myself eating everything. The bowl ends up clean! :). This food truck has some other choices along with some garlic fries, kim chee fries, gyoza sides, and kalbi plates, wagyu loco moco, katsu plate, and some other yummy plates. Prices are decent for plate lunches and bowls. Go try it for yourself.

Always delicious! I usually get the Spicy Kimchi bowl, but the kalbi, fries, and burger are great too. The sistahs are friendly, and the food is great. A must visit.

I walk by this quaint yellow truck almost every day near the engineering building at UH Manoa and finally decided to stop by to check it out before meeting with my late afternoon study group. Especially since there wasn't a huge line this time like usually see around lunch time. The girl who took my order was kind enough to patiently explain what was in some of the plate lunches when I asked. They had a variety of plate lunches and sides to choose from with decent prices for a broke college student like me to treat myself to once in a while. As soon as I read through half of their menu, I knew exactly what to order, the bibimbap. Bibimbap is one of my fave dishes and I can't cook it in my dorm and I don't leave campus too much, so I was excited. I also ordered some gyoza and fries on the side for my classmates. The girl that took my order was accommodating enough to put the fries and gyoza in one container for me. She also gave me extra utensils without me asking for it knowing I was gonna be sharing, how considerate. My friends loved the fries, I even snuck a few bites for myself. The bibimbap was phenomenal, a lot of places I go to that serve bibimbap go way over top with the ingredients and plating, which is nice sometimes but I don't want a bibimbap out of some fancy sizzling bowl all the time. I loved how Sistah kept it delicious yet simple at it's core. They used the exact same combination of veggies my grandma used in her bibimbap that I loved eating whenever I visited her in Gwangju as a kid. The beef wasn't minced to micro-sized bits, just chopped small enough to be able to pick up with my chopsticks with the rice and veggies mixed in. I was embarrassed to eat my bowl clean so quickly in front of my classmates. I will definitely be coming back again and calling my orders in ahead of time so I can skip the wait. They're at the Engineering building on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Korean Cultural Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays, both at UH Manoa throughout the semester. I asked where they go between semesters they funnily replied, "On vacation.", but they said that the could be spotted in downtown on Punchbowl sometimes. She said to call or check out their Instagram @sistahtruck to see where their truck is during the school breaks. Food 10/10 Service 10/10.

I'm in 8th grade, started in 6th, and I've quite liked it, PE everyday and at sometimes you may feel.that the fact it is a test school, the trials done to see which is a more effective way of learning can make you feel like a guinea pig. Math is also rather strange and different. Overall I'm liking it

I attended UHS from pre-school through 11th grade, which was 1975-1988. Hopefully, any negative things I have to say are no longer relevant. I was skipped up a grade from 2nd to 3rd because I had finished all of the readers for 2nd grade. They had also done IQ testing on us, which I had assumed was part of their reasoning for moving me up; but, now I know that the results were... well, not high enough to justify skipping a grade, imo. When 6th grade began, there was an influx of students, and our class grew in size to 25. There was no supervision of students before school. I was called names (and sometimes had spit-balls thrown) every morning by my peers while walking down the hallway/gauntlet to class. I know now that being a year younger than my peers put me at a disadventage socially. I was incapable of dealing with the bullying that came my way. This continued daily for me through the beginning of 8th grade. I started misbehaving in 8th grade; I would say as a direct result of being "teased" for years. They sent me to weekly sessions with a psychology student from UH across the street. Hopefully he was at least a grad student! I told him I had had trouble with being teased. He gave me a book on shyness that said that shy people were being overly self-centered, because other people aren't really looking at us as much as we are afraid that they are. I love that we took art and music every day. The hula teacher was not a fan of white people. With such a diverse student population, wonderful things could have been done to address racism and other socio-economic differences. Instead, we dutifully split ourselves into groups along racial lines, grade after grade and year after year, when it came time to choose a language class, as well as other electives offered. Not because we were forced to. That was just what we did. I remember a girl one grade above me got pregnant and had to leave school; whereas the boy who was the father got to stay. Of course, he was part of the state champs basketball team so, you know, priorities. I remember our choir every year singing the exact same 8 songs as every other school choir on the island, because goodness knows there isn't enough music available out there. I remember sneaking in and smoking pot upstairs in the auditorium that burned down years later. I always wondered if something similar started that fire? Finally, my senior year, one of the teachers went to a strip bar and accidently discovered one of his students--my friend--dancing there (that has nothing to do with anything, I just thought it was funny).

I stopped by Sistah's food truck during school... plus I was looking at the school's website to see what food trucks were on campus. Sistah has mostly local food, with some korean twist. Great alternative from your usual L&L at school. Their portions are great! They accept card, which I know can intimidate me from going to a food truck... I never carry cash. I got the bibimbap bowl. It had a lot of veggies and ground beef, quite a hefty amount, more than I expected for a bibimbap! It also came with a fried egg and what really makes a bibimbap for me is the sauce. Their sauce was a bit different from your traditional gochujang. They had a bit of teriyaki sauce too? The two sisters (I believe) in the truck were super friendly and asked if it was my first time at the truck, along with my friend. Guess we looked pretty clueless when we were looking at the menu. They recommended us to try their chicken katsu next time since a lot of students liked it! Just find a yellow food truck near the Korean building on Tues and Thurs, and near the engineering building on Mon, Wed, Fri at UH Manoa.

This is great shoyu chicken. The service and food was really good! I ate chicken after 3hr, but the meat was still soft. This plate was well spent with good price. If you guys want to eat delicious chicken on campus, should go and order this~

Discriminates against students with learning differences and will kick them out for no reason. Terrible math program in the elementary grades. Many students have outside tutors.
