If you didn't know... you can get all your pet meds at Costco pharmacy for a lot cheaper than the vets. You will just have to ask your vet to call in the prescription to Costco.

This is my usual go-to spot for my prescription refills. However, some of the pharmacy staff are INCREDIBLY RUDE. There have been times where I've called with questions and they seemed extremely irritable and short with their answers.

Very rude customer service at the check in for my COVID Vaccination. However the pharmacist was very friendly to all and made us feel so at ease. The vaccination didn't hurt one bit!

This pharmacy has always been problematic. A line of customers forms, and a single clerk goes through byzantine machinations to explain why it's taking and hour and a half to fill your prescription. On one occasion, after going throught these motions, they decide they don't have enough quantity to fill your prescription...perhaps this could have been mentioned an hour earlier. At 73, I am refused a chair to sit in "because of covid restrictions the manager doesn't let our customers sit down" while the final 15 minutes of this process plays out. In sum, a very bureaucratic and non-caring experience. Just happy I wasn't having some life saving medicine filled. Not a place for serious pharmacy.

These people are ridiculous. Everytime my Doctor calls in a prescription, eventhough I have multiple prescriptions with them, they try to charge me without insurance. I have to give my insurance card every time. They also can't make up their mind about ringing up customers other items. First they make me wait while they run my insurance, then they won't let me get 1 item I picked up from pharmacy while I was waiting.

There’s reason why there’s 4 Costco warehouses in Oahu. Cost of living in Hawaii is high. This Costco is better than the one in Waikiki as it has more stock. You can beat a pack of 2 T-shirts’ for $5, yes $5. Although it ain’t 100% cotton as it’s polyester and spandex blend it’s best value if you need more clothes. This place had the açai bowls that I wanted to try in stock. I’ve stocked up twice here compared to the other location.

Costco Pharmacy is where I send my prescriptions due to convenience. I really have no idea if there's a price difference if I send it to Longs or Times or anywhere else, but my prescriptions are either free or pretty low cost, even the ones that aren't covered. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. The pharmacists are patient, informative, helpful, and easy to understand. Flu shots are also available here, and the person administering them is very positive and upbeat. Makes you feel happy you're getting a big needle jammed into your arm. Anyone can use Costco Pharmacy. You don't need a Costco membership. If you're a member, Costco has a prescription program as well that's free to join, and the program saves you money on prescriptions that aren't covered by your insurance. This pharmacy also provides pet medicine! Overall, I feel comfortable coming to Costco Pharmacy for my prescriptions, and feel it's possibly the lowest cost.

(Living w/Covid series) I've only recently started going to this CostCo in Hawaii Kai primarily to get Covid-related supplies. This Costco's layout is a little bit smaller and different than the others. Going in for some disinfectant wipes, they weren't in the area in the back on the right where the cleaning supplies normally are. In the HK CostCo, they're located in the front on the right where body care & health care products normally are. But the wipes weren't there either! Asking around, I found out they were in the front on the left where electronics like TVs and Apple products are! Turns out I barreled right past them when I first came in! Teach me not to have tunnel vision! Otherwise it's a standard CostCo and only a mile or two further than the Iwilei location is from my condo. Good back up spot when the island's busiest Costco is too crazy! Repeat and recommend!

Due to geographical limitations, we've always frequented Costco's competitor in town. I figured, they're basically the same thing, right? Wrong. I'm thankful for a family member recently getting a membership to Costco, where we've discovered all the things that makes this place great. This location is in Hawaii-Kai on the Ewa side of the pond. They have ample parking that's shared with Ross and others stores and restaurants in the mini-mall. Outside is a stand for pizza and ice cream, be sure to note this is cash or debit only. Inside is the entry with membership desks, car deals, and other promotional items. Inside is the main warehouse store. They have everything in bulk at low prices. Frozen foods, produce, boxed food are around the outside and the back; books, clothing, toys, furniture, and sports equipment are in the center. You never know what goodies you'll find; it's hard for us to make it out without buying more than we planned. Restrooms are in the front. The checkout area is large and spread out, plenty of space to social distance. Workers here do your scanning for you, they're fast and efficient. Employees were also friendly and helpful, it made for a personal and pleasant experience.Crowds are easier here than the Iwelei location, but there is no gas station here either.

Still great even with Covid. Large ready to go dinners are easy and affordable.

We tried to order a Costco supreme pizza. But they don't make them anymore. They only make pepperoni and cheese pizzas. Boo! Where is our vegetables and well rounded meal?
