What a welcoming group of go-getters. I am
in the area visiting and was invited to the gym by my sister. I was very welcomed and everyone was friendly. I would for sure return and if I lived in the area would join.

CrossFit Hawaii is an excellent and intimate CrossFit gym! Coach and owner Kimo is knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve been doing CrossFit for a few years and he is still coaching my form. Eventually I’ll get it right! 🤣 Thanks, Kimo! And thanks 5am crew!!

Had the pleasure of having Coach Jean when I dropped in today and last Friday. She was super welcoming and helped me with modifications as needed. I have been to many gyms where the coach did not correct poor form or give me pointers so I really appreciated when she gave me some tips for form correction. Awesome place to drop into!

Coach Kimo was amazing! From the start, his communication and response time were top-notch. As someone with no prior experience, I really appreciated how he took the time to clearly explain everything, breaking it down in a way that made sense and helped ease my nerves. He removed any intimidation I was feeling and made me feel welcomed and supported.
What stood out the most was his kindness, focus on safety, and how he tailored everything to my current fitness level, encouraging me to start slow and grow steadily. It gave me so much hope and motivation moving forward. I could tell he had a lot of knowledge and experience but was so patient with me.
I was actually weighing between this and another fitness class, but Coach Kimo’s communication, openness, and genuine approach were what made me choose CrossFit Hawaii Kai. So glad I did!

Flew into Hawaii from Vegas and needed a place to do the 2025 open. Kimo was super welcoming and everyone at the gym was extremely friendly. Good vibes!

Well structured and the movements are explained in detail. Scaled movements are also offered and demonstrated. Great setting and atmosphere. Positive energy and motivation.

This was my first time at this location and I had a really beautiful experience!
Kimo the coach was extremely welcoming and kind, as were the athletes that greeted me with smiles and handshakes. There was a very positive and community driven energy about the class, which I deeply appreciated!
The box itself was very organized and clean, which I also appreciated!
I will be definitely be coming back and will be my go to box when I am in town!

Kimo is very relatable, able to communicate and connect with members extremely well and provides excellent customer service. Kimo is also very knowledgeable and provides real time coaching throughout the workout. Awesome coach!

This is the worst CrossFit gym on the island. I wanted an open gym membership. Over the phone the owner agreed that I would have to take 1 class as an assessment for open gym to make sure I was familiar with the equipment. He then synced with his coach who had been extremely rude to me in person. He made assumptions about where I lived, what I was capable of and my CrossFit experience based on just seeing my face. When the owner realized that I was black, suddenly I had to be a member for 2 months where I’d be assessed for “culture fit”. I’ve been doing CrossFit for 5 years and travel around the country and world and I’ve never had any experience such as this one. It’s sad that other people of color are racist. I’ll keep my $200 and go to one of the many other gyms on the island. Extremely rude and disgusting behavior.
