I had a great car-buying experience at Cutter Mazda Honolulu! It was time for me to replace my Mazda3 Hatchback. The car had served me well, driving from Kaneohe to Kaimuki for work every day. It's why I decided to go with Mazda again. My main criterion was that I needed a car with comparable trunk space. I started looking at the 2024 cars in October 2023. The salesperson, Derin, was patient and helpful and kept me informed throughout the process. Johnny, his manager, was great about checking in with me to see how everything was going. Christmas came early for me in mid-December! My Mazda CX-5 arrived! I am tremendously happy with the color and features included with the car. Steve, the finance manager, helped me complete the paperwork efficiently. He answered any questions I had along the way. I'm happy I found a car with the space I wanted. I feel safe and comfortable, and I enjoy the features included. Absolutely recommend Cutter Mazda Honolulu to people looking to purchase their next car.

If possible I would have given 0 stars. Service is mediocre but I think it's inherent to the cutter brand. My main gripe is how they are concerned with a 3% surcharge for credit card usage. What a load of BS, if a car sales company is trying to pull what small mom and pop stores usually do. I'm ok with this at smaller places since that the nature but a car sales place....nah

Our tremendous thanks to Robert Haines who assisted us with leasing a beautiful new CX-30 this week. We have worked with Robert before and highly recommend him. Robert and the Mazda team made everything work seamlessly for us, and we really appreciate the welcoming and professional process at Cutter. This is our sixth Mazda with Cutter and we will continue to do business with them in the future. Thanks to Robert and the Cutter Mazda team!

When I purchased my vehicle back in 2014. I was told that my safety checks would be free for as long as I owned my vehicle. So previous years that I brought my vehicle to get a safety check it was all good. I had my husband bring in my vehicle today cause I had to work and they charged him! Wondering if anyone has had the same issue.

We have been looking around for months researching the most reliable suv for our new baby on the way and we finally decided on Mazda. We were greeted by Ahmed one of the car sales representative his customer service went above & beyond. He answered all our questions that we had, he has a lot of knowledge about the cars you can tell he is passionate about his work. We were at the dealership for hours until we finally decided on the suv we wanted. Ahmed let us test drive it we never felt rushed especially because this is our first purchase of a brand new car. Everyone there was very friendly & helpful the whole time. We love our new Mazda, I highly recommend asking for Ahmed he will really make sure your taken care of without pressuring you in to buying a car until your ready. Will definitely come back again.

I give Cutter Mazda a 4.5/5 if I could figure out how to do half stars We used Cutter Mazda for my first time buying a car and they did a good job of making sure the process wasn't too painful. They gave us a great deal on a different car with better miles since the one we were looking at was getting sold that day. We had Brian and Johnny help us with the buying process. They were both great and super friendly! There was also 2 small hiccups with a check from the credit union (make sure the check is made out to Cutter Mazda instead of the cutter umbrella company if using a credit union) and that I was told my car had apple car play when it was sold when it did not. Both times as soon as the general manager of the store heard what was going on stepped in and made it right. Overall, we had a great experience with the Mazda family and I am happy with one of my first adult purchases!

We had a fantastic experience at this Mazda dealer. We knew exactly what we wanted and we got stellar service from Johnny (Assistant Sales Manager) and Arriana. Both young, knowledgeable, professional, and SO friendly and super low pressure sales people. This was the smoothest car buying experience!!! And we love our Mazda3 hatchback!!!

Amazing service at Cutter Mazda of Honolulu! Nohili initially reached out upon making an online inquiry and was very accommodating. I appreciated his thorough follow up especially because it’s difficult to find the time in the day to answer calls and we set an appointment. Our sales rep. Brian took care of us and was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. We didn’t feel rushed while we took our time examining the interior/ exterior and taking it for test drives. Steve, the finance manager made the transaction seamless and painless. It’s great we didn’t have to go through the typical paperwork you might expect. The entire time we felt welcomed and in more than capable hands with the whole team. Everyone greeted and congratulated us on our new purchase. We’re overall very satisfied not only with the quality of the vehicle, but also super confident that Mazda will be there for us even after the fact. Never considered a Mazda before, but now I don't see us going anywhere else! Thanks Nohili, Brian and Steve of Cutter Mazda of Honolulu!

Awesome experience at Cutter Mazda. We came in looking for a car that my elderly mother could get in and out of easily. Devin, our salesperson, was so patient and helpful in making sure we got just the right car for her. We ended up with the CX-50 (our second Mazda!) and couldn’t be happier. Steve, our finance manager, helped us complete the paperwork and the entire process was smooth and efficient. We can now take my mom riding knowing she will be safe and comfortable. l would definitely recommend Cutter to anyone looking to purchase a car.

Here’s my experience with Cutter Mazda Honolulu:I purchased a new cx-30 and the key fob stopped working. I called the service department and scheduled an appointment after being informed the following:- they’d replace the key fob as the warranty would cover it for 36k miles or within 3 years- the service would take about 40 minutes and I could wait on-site while they diagnosed it- it was better to schedule an appointment so I didn’t have to waitI pulled up at the Service Dept area at the scheduled time. I was then informed that:- the person who was to see me was on the phone and would see me soon- there was a $180 diagnostics fee to see what was wrong with the keyI waited for 45 minutes before walking into the dealership after having seen 3 cars pull up after me but being taken care of right away. Once inside I found that no one was on the phone. Maybe they had just hung up, I couldn’t tell.When I spoke to a person at the service desk I was now told that:- they would get to my car when they had the chance because now there were others in front of me- they’d call me later in the day since now I had to drop it offWhen I asked why I had to show up 45 minutes earlier, why I was misinformed about the warranty (versus paying for the service) and why I was told I could wait and have this resolved in less then an hour I was told “I had to help them help me.”I walked out and left. Draw your own conclusions if you plan on doing business with this location.

This is regarding their Service Department. This has nothing to do with the Sales Department.Brought my 2020 CX-9 in for an oil change and they filled it up way past the line. Having the oil too high can damage your engine. Either the person changing the oil didn't check the level before signing off or they did check it and did not give a damn and didn't want to do the job right so they just hoped no one would look. Brought it back in 3 days later and to me the oil level was still high but they said it was acceptable. If you get oil changes here please make sure that it's not overfilled that could cause issues down the road. I'll have someone else change my oil from now on, not these guys. *On a side note, the service manager was kind but the other guy that came to look with him was a damn p****** **sorry is the picture is blurry, had to screen shot it off a video and can't post the video.**
