CVS now owns Longs- FYI/FWIW!! But hey, I like them anyway!! Listen, if you're in Honolulu you know ABC stores and Longs are where you get your snacks, drinks, kitschy touristy paraphernalia, OTC and prescription drugs (not at ABCs silly), foot powder, newer flippity floppities for when your toe pick is plucked, bit of alcohol which I haven't had, though it might seem so after reading this review. The staff at Longs is generally friendly, and these folks at this location absolutely do not disappoint, a joyful hello will invade your ear/hearing as soon as you are within shouting distance, even when you hide and slink around the corner of an aisle - there it is to meet you like a brick in the face, loud and clear - "Hello!! Welcome to Longs! Seriously, love this place it makes you stretch your joyfulness and pushes out your dreary. Longs has what you need to fix what's ailing you, whether it's meds, food, drink or trinkets it's here at your local Longs. If you haven't been to Longs, you're definitely missing out on what you don't know you need till you see it, so go see "IT" at Longs!!!! (I approve of this message, and LONGS!!)

We shop here often and I thought I had reviewed this Longs Drugs. This location is closer to University Square. It's located between S. King Street and Beretania Street. Lots of free parking here. Walking into the store, there is a Bank of Hawaii branch to your right. Then a very stocked Longs Drugs of Holiday goodies and decorations. Now on sale. I went to pick up medicine for a family member and picked up a few island calendars 2024 to mail. It was pretty crowded with people. The store is organized and the aisles are clean. Every nook is filled with products and displays.

OK, this is a Long's drugstore, so I'm gonna give them a medium review, only because it's pretty utilitarian. This is a great stop if you need to pick up some meds or even a prescription that you forgot while traveling. The first floor has, some convenient store, type goods, cold drinks, candy, etc. Upstairs is the RX but also has a good price on the Hawaiian Host chocolate macadamia nuts that they have all over the island but for a lower price. You can get the large travel boxes that have six boxes inside of them for around $30, which is a really good price. Most places are selling one of the small boxes for as much as $12.99 which puts your six boxes at over $77. So buy your chocolate macadamia nuts here. Oh, I also picked up a pretty nice Hawaiian shirt at an OK price here as well. This was pretty late at night because all the other clothing stores had closed down by about 9 PM, and Longs is open 24 hours. Pretty convenient.

This review is for the pharmacy alone. I waited at the window for 5 minutes while 2 ladies were inside looking at me while talking and ignoring me. I have never felt so annoyed, it does not take over 5 minutes to grab prescriptions, you can pause the conversation and return to it in less than 3. Horrible service and attitude.

"Longs Drugs makes the process of getting prescriptions incredibly convenient with their efficient drive-thru service. It's a time-saver and a game-changer for anyone with busy schedules or limited mobility. The friendly staff and speedy service have made my healthcare needs hassle-free. I highly appreciate this added convenience at Longs Drugs!"

This is for the pharmacy only. Incredibly disorganized, with piles of prescriptions on the floor in boxes, and staffers who don't know answers to anything so they ask the pharmacist, who says she's new and does not know. They recently refused to fill a prescription because it was not for an existing client even though they had confirmed it on the phone and I was a long time client there, causing quite a bit of additional trouble. Staff and pharmacist did not care, just "too bad, sorry."

I stop into this store in the morning before work and most of the days after work. Complete disrepect from employee (maybe Andrew?). His attitude was beyond belief and I was shocked at his behavior. Went in today and he displayed an attitude that should be grounds for termination. It will be hard for me because I come here so much, but I won't be back. Feel free to call me 808-216-9842.Robert

Good example of a pleasant standard shopping mall anchor store. Staff were helpful and friendly. Sales items were a very good value. Bought a toaster oven here that has been reliable and fits in well in our small kitchen. Lots of parking around the mall. Other big stores nearby like Ross.

Had the best experience at this Longs on 1/22/23. Received excellent help looking for a particular item. Tina W. was exceptional and really went out of her way to help. I'd go to this Longs all the time, if only I lived closer.

Always very clean and neat in this store, plenty of parking and short lines. They even have self checkout which is my favorite!

Meriam W was an absolute angel in a hectic store. Her customer service is far beyond Longs and she deserves a raise to say the least. She was so compassionate and I found out she was smiling and being so lovely despite working graveyard shift!!! With kids!! She's a real life super woman and I hope LONGS DRUGS reads their reviews to know I WOULD NEVER RIGHT A REVIEW if I didn't feel like this employee didn't deserve it. I come to this longs so often for the last 5 years and I think Longs doesn't deserve her. Wow. Meriam W deserves some appreciation that's for sure. Longs should hold onto what GOLD it has left. Xoxo. Stay strong beautiful God sees you.

Drive thru guy had no balls. Wish CVS would just go out of business. Locals shop at longs due to brand loyalty, but it sucks. I miss when this was star market.

Worst pharmacy on island. No customer service and very poor people skills. Didn't even know basic pharmacy guidelines or anything. Not sure who's in charge of hiring staff but need some improvement all around.

I ain't mad that they got like 100 more parking stalls then needed. So I be never having a triffled time finding or getting a parking stall in the direction I came in or want to leave from. The grade of the entry and exit ramps satisfy's AASHTEA (American Association of State, Highway, Transportation Engineering Association. That's about the best you can expect
