Introduced to this place on a food tour and went back twice during our stay for tasty manapua (steamed buns) for breakfast; different fillings to choose from; also has noodles and rice and other dishes in the bain marie to make up plate lunches, although we didn't taste these

I cannot tell you how generous the portions are. It can easily feed two adults. The plates are too small so the lunch is heaping on their plate.

I haven’t eaten here since I moved to maui. I didn’t know this new location opened. We bought pints of different entrees. The garlic chicken fried rice was the best! We ate their garlic chicken, lemon chicken, eggplant, green bean chicken, and pork hash. We also tried their custard buns and char sit buns. Everything was delicious!

Exceptional menu of local plate lunch favorites with a Chinese flare, all served with a smile but no fanfare. This is not fine dining. But, after a swim in the ocean, Chun Wah Kam is a great place to grab a bite before heading home. Be certain to either go early or call your order in ahead of time for will-call, otherwise the line at this popular eatery can be daunting. A guaranteed stop for manapua, porkhash and much, much more.
