First and foremost, I want to call out that it REALLY helps to have done research prior to purchasing an engagement ring. You should have some idea on what the special person in your life would want and pictures are the best way to get that help in designing the proper ring (if you're going the custom route). This includes, but is not limited to, the setting, the setting material, prong design, diamond clarity/color/cut/size, even other features she might like - and most of all, ring size. Knowing details beforehand made the conversation much more enlightening than I ever imagined.I spent a year sporadically researching options, keeping Moshe in my back pocket - turns out, he was the one I should've went to all along. Back in April, I contacted Moshe since the time was coming up fast. I googled that the turnaround time for a ring was typically 5-6 weeks and I was about 7 weeks out from the day I planned to propose. I needed to get with someone I knew people trusted and that just had a flawless attitude to getting high quality pieces completed - Moshe was my guy.I chatted with him a bit on IG to explain what I'm looking for, got a quick quote, and asked about turnaround time before booking an appointment. When booking the official appointment, you need to provide a deposit (that gets credited to your total cost of the ring). This is when it gets serious so make sure you're ready to commit.When I showed up to the appointment, I was greeted as if I were a family friend. Though I will recommend you inquire about the exact location of their office before you show up. It's impossible to find on Yelp at least to my knowledge and for security purposes, I think it's safe to leave that information out of my review as well, but that's something for you to keep in mind. Anyway, everyone is incredibly nice, they're quite literally like a family.We sat down in Moshe's office where he asked a few basic questions before digging into the finer details about design. I had videos, pictures, and experiences to share (based on discussions I had with my girlfriend). Moshe walked me through the entire customization from diamond size (which I had already picked out prior to the appointment on his website), setting, prongs, and of course, budget and pricing. Most importantly, selecting a date-range for pickup (at least, in my case).After designing, I got to meet Aunty M, who takes payment while Moshe got on the phone to get my order in the queue ASAP due to my time constraint. I was in the process of getting a fresh new credit card for this purchase so I put down a deposit on one card before paying two days later with the fresh one - kind of recommend this since you can end up using these points for a trip later, maybe even your honeymoon, who knows!Come the week that we take off on this trip (proposing overseas), I called up the office to see how we were doing on time. After a bit of back and forth, we agreed on a pickup date one day before takeoff. That meant that I was clear to not only tell my parents it was happening, but to also ask for the blessing of my girlfriend's father.Now that we're back, we downsized the ring by a full size so it'll fit my fiancée's finger better since the hint that I got early on about ring size was actually not accurate. I shared the story of the ring customization with her and let me tell you, it was quite an adventure, but she loves how it came out - it was literally the ideal design.Thank you to Moshe and the team, the ring was perfect thanks to all of you for making it happen. She cannot take her eyes off it now, it's just spectacular.

Service was awesome. Moshe was so accommodating as well as knowledgeable about engagement rings and wedding bands. He was thorough and gave me a very informative appraisal. I think the most important thing is that you know you're in a trustworthy place. Highly recommend.

A great bespoke jeweler! My fiancee wanted a very particular kind of engagement ring. We ordered a sapphire from Sri Lanka, and worked with the Diamond Guy to come up with a design based on my fiancee's tastes. I was nervous to make such a big purchase without know the final product. It turned out better than me or my fiancee ever imagined. It is a truly unique and elegant ring that perfectly matches her style. The Diamond guy was very professional and guided us through the whole process. My fiancee is still gushing over the ring weeks later. She says its perfectly her. I would recommend the Diamond Guy to anybody interested in bespoke jewelry.

My fiancée wanted a very specific style of ring that was not common. I ordered the a teal sapphire from Sri Lanka and the Diamond Guy crafted the ring according to the design styles that my fiancée shared. I was a bit nervous considering the cost of having a custom made ring. It turned our better than we imagined. The Diamond guy really showed his experience and aesthetic in helping guiding us through the process. My fiancée is still gushing about the ring weeks later. She says it fits here perfectly, which was not an easy ask. I would totally recommend the Diamond Guy to anyone looking for high quality bespoke Jewelry.

I recently called the Diamond Guy Hawaii to book an appointment to appraise several jewelry pieces and was able to get an appointment the next day. We met with the owner Moshe who was personable, easy to talk to, answered all of our questions and provided us with excellent customer service. The appraisal price was reasonable, especially since the appraisal is done during the appointment and all documentation is provided. The staff was very friendly and the office was clean. Moshe advised us that should we be in the market to buy or sell jewelry, need further appraisals, etc, he would gladly help us. 5 stars!

It was such a stress free and refreshing experience from start to finish. They have a huge variety of ethically sourced and lab grown diamonds to choose from. Their website was easy to navigate and understand. The best part, their personalities. I have never shopped at a place where I have felt more welcomed and like family. Truly, auntie Erin is a wonderful human being who brightened my face everytime I came in. Ring pickup was flawless. Ring resizing was simple. 10/10. Went in with lots of jewelry I recently found & I mean LOTS. I know practically nothing about jewelry & majority of the pieces ended up being fake, BUT the owner Moshe was very courteous and professional he didn’t make me feel bad or embarrassed for my lack of knowledge or anything. Would highly recommend you give them a try - you will not be disappointed!

LONG overdue review. First off, I have earrings from Moshe and won earrings for my sister in one of his giveaways. I left a review on his other business for those (Hawaii Estate and Jewelry Buyers). Great service and all around guy! I have been following him on insta for forever and have always admired the rings. I have a black diamond engagement ring from my husband (Sex and the City inspired) for 10 years but have been eyeing many of the rings that Moshe has created over the years. I would send "hints" to my husband on instagram (in the form of messaging him the rings I loved from the diamondguy808 instagram). He took the hint and surprised me with the most stunning ring for our anniversary last year. I was in total shock. First of all, I never thought I would get another ring and second - it is hands down the most stunning ring I've ever seen. It actually was not one of the rings I was hinting but I LOVE that he chose this one himself and surprised me with it. He had my 2 sons present it to me on our anniversary and it was so special. Moshe nails it every time. I still love looking through his posts and stories and seeing all of the rings/jewelry he creates.
