Kathy was very patient with me. She works closely with the delivery people. Had new washer & dryer delivered but they couldn't install because water couldn't be shut down (live in Condo). The delivery guys called their boss and he called Kathy. She called me immediately and informed me that I'll need to have a plumber fix the issue before I could get the washer & dryer installed. After the plumbing issue was fixed, I called Kathy and made arrangements for the delivery and installation. Went like clockwork.

This company is terrible. I would go into the lengthy story of my experience with Discount Mutual but I've wasted enough time and energy on them. I'll just say that a company that sells appliances such as air conditioning units that are priced at appx $1,000 and does not take debit/credit cards speaks volumes. A company that has the wrong address on their company letterhead/invoice, 770 Kapiolani Blvd., Suite 101B as opposed to 777 Kapiolani Blvd. (which is actually the BMW dealership across the street) speaks even greater volumes. The lady/customer rep that I interacted with during my transaction was incredibly rude and was very close to cussing her out on a few occasions. If you can find another company to buy the products you need on island I'd recommend doing so, use this place as a last resort and last resort ONLY!

My wife and I just installed three new air conditioners for our condo through Discount Mutual. I 100% recommend this business. They are flexible and made the whole process easy and painless. They helped us prep our condo for the arrival of our first child. I highly recommend the GE air conditioners as they have a built in dry mode and eco mode to keep your place cool and save on energy. Controlling the air conditioners from the app is super useful.

Kathy was very helpful in finding the right refrigerator to fit our kitchen space and it had all of the features that we were looking for. She secured it at the distributor and arranged pick up all at a good price. Mahalo, Kathy.

Discount Mutual is located behind Yanagi Sushi on Kapiolani. I purchased two air conditioners from them. Their prices are quite reasonable and I would recommend them to friends.
