These guys are great. I had just dropped off family at the airport and it was close to their closing time (it was a Saturday and they close earlier), but I decided to drop by to see if they could help me with a slow tire leak that had been bugging me for over a week. They were super friendly and took care of me quickly. Next time I need a tire, I'll call them rather than going to Tesla.

Been having terrible luck with nails in my tires recently. Had stock tires on vehicle and needed to search for a place that was equipped with the correct pads for a Tesla. Great customer service fast replies and overall service! Purchase a set of new tires and not even a whole week later another nail in tire. Drove back in (booked appointment via website) and didn’t even know they offered free patches. I would highly recommend this place! Especially if you own a Tesla, since it’s a nightmare to find a tire shop that would even want to put them on

These people were so quick to squeeze us in last minute when we had a hole in our tire. We were in and out in 30 minutes. Im not saying to expect this from them, but they didn't even charge us. So I would most definitely recommend them to anyone else for any sort of tire troubles.

I walked in a complete mess with no one from any other tire place being able to help me...Jack fit me in right away and got the tires I needed!! Barely any wait time and was able to get the correct tires right away!! On top of that the tires aren't over priced and the waiting area has A/C so you can sit comfortably for your car to be done. I will tell everyone I know to come here for all their tire needs!! Great experience!!!

I'm in HI for work. Ended up with a puncture in my tire. I came to Discount tire and saying they are the best is putting it lightly. Other shops didn't really want to help and tried to push a new tire instead. Here, I explained my problem and they solved it quickly. They took care of me with a "lifetime patch" and I was on my way. Definitely the best place on the Island for ANYTHING tire related!!! Also in my top 5 of positive experiences on the Island. Highly recommended!!!

I wrote 2 prior reviews giving Discount Wheel and Tires five stars each time. I've been going to this place since the "Clarence Silva" days and I clearly remember as a child seeing Uncle Clarence every time a family member needed new tires or a tire repair. Since he passed away, the wonderful service and great reputation carried on. I always had great service from Craig, Tony, and even Josh. My love and loyalty for this place was so great that I, as a management person for a company located on Lagoon Drive, recommended to all of my employees to go to Discount Tires on Ualena for all their tire needs. In fact, when one of my employees cannot afford the cost of a new tire, or a new set of tires if needed, I would pay for the tire(s) and allow the employee to pay me back when possible. That's how loyal I was to Discount Tires! Sadly, on February 14, 2024 my perception of this place changed after a bad experience with one particular person at Discount Tires. I called numerous times between 8am and 845am on this particular day... but no answer. My intention was to make an appointment and to see if they had my tire in stock as one of my tires popped the night before. After not being able to get anyone to answer the line, I reached out to Tony Smith (a Discount Tires employee working at another branch) on his personal cell and he said "sorry Leeza is not answering." I have attached a screenshot of his text to me at the bottom of this review to prove that I did call the Ualena store and that he was sorry that Leeza wasn't answering, So.. I drove down to the store at 9:15 am, and the female working at the desk was very unfriendly. LEEZA said the phone didn't ring at all when I questioned why no one was answering. The place was not crowded or busy with customers, so she had no excuses. She made like I lied about calling between 8am and 845am and said there was no record of any calls coming in. WOW.. Anyways, she couldn't find any record of my customer history in the system either and that was a disappointment, too! Over 35 years I went to this place numerous times.. and no record of me??! WOW.. I expressed my disappointment as this girl had no clue how far back I go with Discount Tires. She threatened to not serve me after I expressed my disappointment in her attitude toward a loyal customer. Thus, I reached out to manager Jack Manchester, who is related to Uncle Clarence.. so he knew that my family were loyal customers from the very beginning of Discount Tires. He was very nice to talk to and I explained that I will no longer recommend to my employees and family to come to Discount Tires because there is NO ALOHA anymore... well none from Leeza anyway. One employee can really ruin it for the whole company. I also encouraged him to look at his other Yelp reviews, and that there was another Yelp customer (Kristen A) that had issues with Leeza, just a couple weeks before me. So if two customers who don't even know each other are yelping one stars for the same employee, that speaks volumes in itself. If I could, I'd give ZERO stars because of this experience. Thank you Uncle Clarence Silva for the good memories and great customer service you showed my family and me for decades. May you rest in peace. Thank you, Jack, for listening to my concern when I called on February 14, 2024 to tell you about Leeza.. and thank you for sharing your history with Uncle Clarence as well.

So I asked for quotes on my handy-dandy yelp app for new tires. DWT replied and directed me to their website, where I could see prices and schedule an appointment. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day and arrived on time. Their office is in the back of the shop, look for the arrows and lines on the floor. Checked in and one of their guys picked up my keys and went to work. I was changing all 4 tires, and at 20 minutes after dropping my keys off, the tech told me it was done. I was surprised, 20 minutes?! Then the tech said, oh wait, they forgot to do the alignment. No problem, I was prepared to wait at least an hour so I put my airpods back in and continued with a Netflix show. They were done a few minutes shy of an hour! They changed all 4 tires, and did my alignment and I was on my way. I was told to come back every 5-6k miles for free tire rotation that is for the life of the tires. The fact that I work from home means it might take a while before my next 5-6k miles, but I am now a fan!

The service was also outstanding. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. They answered all my questions patiently and helped me choose the right tires for my car. The installation process was quick and smooth. Overall, I had a positive experience at Discount Wheel and Tire and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for new tires downtown. They offer great value, excellent service, and a convenient location. Tip: there is a great lunch spot right at the foot of the driveway.
