Read the website rates carefully before you go and be prepared to fight for the deals you see online.

The day started off great. Convenient location, nice people at the counter. We rented a mini-van for the day so explore the island with our group of 6. In the early afternoon, the car started to give us trouble. It wouldn't start. I was able to finally get it to start, but after our next stop it wouldn't start at all.It turned into a very long night waiting for the tow truck, then trying to get an Uber back to Waikiki from the North shore. Enterprise road assistance said they would text me a link to set up and Uber, but it didn't work. We paid for the Uber ourselves. It took a super long time. Our kids were miserable.Once we got back to the hotel, someone from the local Enterprise office called to tell me that there was rust and water damage in the key fob and they were going to charge me for a new key. We were no where near water all day and I told them this. They didn't care. Even though it was definitely damaged by another client, they insisted it was me. Also, I bought the insurance, but apparently it doesn't cover the key.I went back and forth with them for several days. Eventually they did not charge me for the key and reimbursed for the Uber. I still had to pay for the rental and the insurance, even though they did not provide us with a functional car and they did not honor their insurance policy.Although they were all very courteous, I would not recommend renting from them. Such a hassle. Terrible experience.

Fine experience. Nothing over the top, but nothing bad either. I would recommend it.

This rental car was probably the smoothest pickup and drop off I have ever had. I wish i got the name of the gentleman who helped us at the counter because he made this so easy. I rented a Mitsubishi Mirage or similar on Expedia ahead of time and put my husband as the driver. We arrived and were greeted by the nice gentleman who asked for my ID and credit card and my husband's ID. He asked if we wanted insurance like they always do and then explained the pick up and drop off process and bam! Just like that we were in and out in less than 5 minutes. It was so quick. Off we went to the 5th floor where they have the cars available and the lady offered us the Mirage OR we could get a Cadillac OR a BMW 330i. They are all in the same category for rental. So we opted for the BMW and we were on the road. I thought because I put 5 pm as the return time on my online rental we had to be back by 5, but nope. The nice gentleman explained that they closed at noon but have a key drop off right outside their door and I could drop it anytime before my 24 hours were up. That made things so much easier and no time constraints. It was awesome! So easy to rent and so easy to drop off whenever we wanted. Thanks for the best rental experience I have ever had!

Loved it. Right on site. You pay a little extra but it's very convenient to drive around the island.

Booked the car the day before. Price was reasonable. The car was clean. It was a little scratched up but they documented all damage prior to leaving. Pick up and drop off was super quick.

This Enterprise Rent A Car is located in the Hilton Hawaiian Village fyi. As far as I could tell, there is no free parking for customers. I made a car rental reservation with Enterprise several weeks in advance. Then some car rental crisis on the island happened and I got worried. I checked google maps at the time and it said it was "Temporarily closed" so that made me extra suspicious. I tried calling their phone number multiple times at different times of day during their business hours to confirm my reservation and they never answered. I called and emailed corporate and they couldn't contact them either. Corporate told me it was probably fine. It wasn't super reassuring since we definitely needed a rental car for the week. After checking into our nearby hotel, I get to this Enterprise location and it's simply open like normal. Why don't they answer their phone? It would have saved me from unnecessary stress.I originally made a reservation for a intermediate car. They offered an upgrade to a mustang and I accepted it without much thought. I later regretted it because the mustang has terrible handling. The long hood design and seat placement made it difficult for shorter people like me to see out the front windshield. I also had to be extra careful to not leave anything in the car because soft top convertibles are popular for car break ins on the island. For some reason I figured that spouses were automatically included. My spouse ended up having to come to this rental location on another day to show his license and be added to the reservation (at no extra cost). Some car rental companies don't require the spouse to show up in person. Enterprise did. Customer service was nice enough but as usual the car rental lines can get long so it was an extra hour out of our day.

Great service from Henry who is the sweetest. Our fave choices of mid-sized SUVs – Forrestors and Rav 4s. Easy check in and return at the ample sized garage. Rates higher than elsewhere but the quality service and ease is worth the difference. Will rent here again this year.

We had all of our belongings stolen when visiting. Including the rental car keys. Not just the keys but our wallets, phones, cash, cloths and much more. We were stranded about 2 hours from our hotel. We filed a police report and the local fire department let us use their phone to let enterprise know we had no way to get back. From the beginning Enterprises reps made it VERY obvious the #1 concern was making sure they got their car back. They did not offer any help to pick us up, or to help in literally any regard. It was only after I had repeatedly asked if we could ride with the tow truck driver, were we able to get back to the airport. But since we did not have any ID ( as it was STOLEN) they wouldn't rent us a car to get back to our hotel. After all of this they charged us 300 dollars for towing the rental AND 300 for "lost keys" and then let me know I was placed on a "do not rent" list as only half the their 600 fees went through. Again, because EVERYTHING WAS STOLEN and our accounts were locked due to fraud investigation.Their slogan, "we'll pick you up" couldn't be farther from the truth. Dealing with them added so much more stress to our situation. If you can, I highly recommend renting through literally anyone else.
