Absolutely no urgency. Extremely disorganized. We were in line for 45 minutes to cash a check, the transaction took way too long then needed. Save your time and go to another branch.

When I tried to get information about the delay in getting my debit card, I called the branch telephone number. They gave me numbered options to press for the type of situation I needed help with. I pressed them all and none of them worked. Something is seriously wrong.

The line is too long. It costs me $40 to wait this long to withdraw amounts over ATM $500 limit( $1000/day limit). Cheaper in time & gas to store money under the mattress

Every time i come here the place has a line out the door but Annalyn Bautista always has a warm smile and calm manner! She never rushes anyone and answers all client questions even when i have witnessed clients be rude to her. She deserves a raise!

Saw that they close at 6 on Friday so I came 430 to make a payment. Suprised to see the sign that says already closed. Asked the short asian lady with the short hair if they were really closed because it says 6 online. She didnt need to give me an attitude. Uncalled for! Did not deserve the type of attitude that she gave me!

Can say much about the branch because it usually ok,but in this case with the teller, I was trying to make a surprise payment for my GF towards her car (for a surprise) and this person was very difficult. Should ha e been easy because I was not asking h for any Information at all. I give the name of the person and some details possibly needed but unless I had an account number she could not help me. Mind you that they could look up under name and or Ss number and no. So I had to call. Next she asked for amount and I informed just to make the minimum payment and she would not do that unless I knew the minimum payment amount which was ludicrous. I wasnt even asking h for it, just for her to use last patmentamount made, butnope, she wouldnteven do that. Its giving personal information, which of course it isn't. Aginformation. I accompanied my cousin because he wanted to check and place something in his safety deposit box. And the short Filipino female teller had the audacity to say "I don't have time to always look for your box number! If you don't remember it next time don't come until you have the number." I thought this was rude and uncalled for. Since then he hardly has anything deposited in his account and uses his other bank. How can he always remember it when he is constantly on the go and flies in and out of town, hardly goes to the safety deposit box? There is a way to treat customers especially when you are in the service industry. Why snap at my cousin? Really? Even I don't remember my box number but the staff at my bank don't get snippy with me. They ASSIST me. I don't go to my box regularly. Maybe once or twice a year!

This branch of first Hawaiian Bank does NOT open until 6 PM on Fridays! I repeat, does NOT open until 6 PM on Fridays. Not only does First Hawaiian Bank continue to keep locations closed, they also reduce their hours. This is especially important on Fridays and government benefit days. With the social distancing guidelines, the line went out to the sidewalk and around the building. That's crazy. They don't even have an express teller to drop off anything that can be processed after the branch closes. The tellers and managers try their best to accommodate however these closing decisions and hours of operations come from executive management. FHB, please be more customer service oriented!

Went to First Hawaiian Bank Liliha branch to pay for my Priority Destination world master card. Just to let you all know their customer service Sucks ! Big time. First of all social distances so they were busy so I was maybe the 5th person outside the door. Got to the counter and paid my bill with the Teller. Than I ask the teller can I exchange my $300 worth in $20 for larger bills. She replied can I have your last 4 digit of my social security ok I thought that was Odd I gave it to her. Than the teller asked me if I have a savings or checking account w/them . I said NO! , she then replied I only can exchange up to $100 dollars only. I said to her why it's money than she advised me the computer don' have me in the system so that why. Thats Bull because they just want your business by opening up a account with them ? But remember I'am a First Hawaiian credit card holder so that mean I'm a customer. They still did not accommodate me. These big banks out there they don't care about us small fleas if you don't deposit in the Millions they don't bend over backwards to try to give you customer service that you should receive. So now I'm piss I'm going to pay off my balance on my card and I'm going to close my account t with them and now their going to lose a customer for life . For only something small that the Teller could have im-power herself and serviced me! That's why I like to bank at the smaller banks or credit union because they want your business so they will try every way to accommodate the customer. I hope upper management sees this Review because I'm going to let everyone know not to bank at First Hawaiian Bank again ! Poor service no matter if that's their policy I wasn't trying to cash a outer State check or something like that just to make change come on people ! HELLO If there was a 0 star I would have rated them big fat 0 . Also when I was leaving the hand sanitizer machine was out of sanitizer. I looked at the worker who was controlling the door and told her the sanitizer is out she only laugh. Come on ! Covid19 social distancing need to re- fill sanitizer if not why have it . Support local but not FHB
