This spot is cool and good to go and fly by. There are (2) two different directional ways to pull in your 'Whip' {Vehicle} indubitably therefore (2) two different ways to exit. However, the side street entry and exit allows you to turn left or right, so as to provide multiple directional options for your fly by to get you home faster therefor safer. They are nice. All hard alcohol is behind the counter. Beers' here are all in the a few of their refrigerators. So cold and ready to go. If you need a bag or even bring (1) one or (2) two with you as "REUSING" is Hot, proper and sexy yah. Note: whether you bring your own bags or get their bags. They are faster at packing up then you are, they prefer to do so I am told, so don't feel bad about not helping or trying out. They are faster and understand that you want to get out of there as fast as possible. {it makes you wonder if they want you out of there as fast a possible}

My bus stops nearby to Goutmet Liquors and I get what I need before going home.In the small area inside they have many liquor,wine,whiskey and the green cans of my favorite German brand. I moved here in 2014 and found this place accidentally. I saw the cameras and the big mirror like every liquor store and Ken the owner watched my every move because he never saw me before and I was cool with that.Paid with cash because it was more convenient for both of us. After a few visits they got used to me and I greeted them with "ann yeong haseyo", (hello in Korean")made me more familiar to them. I like to have a warm relationship with people I do business daily. When the cashier offered me a plastic bag(remember them?) to put my drink inside I told her I don't drink when I walk and put it in my backpack.As I was leaving she thanked me and I answered with"cheonman eyo naseyo" that means you're welcome in Korean. My ex wife is Korean and I did learn basic Korean from her. Koreans are wise,courteous.honest people who came to Hawaii with only basic needs and worked hard to open their business. Come to Gourmet Liquor!!!

My wife and I were on our anniversary and we decided to buy some fancy liquor for our trip. When we got it, it looked like the real deal. However, on the night we were having dinner, the bottle was glued. My wife was already skeptical to the point where she tasted it for herself. It was FAKE. Not only did we get fake liquor, but we were SCAMMED into buying fake liquor disguised as something real. Do us a favor and do not buy anything here. They scammed me once and I'm not gonna let anyone else get scammed by the same people.

This place deserve no stars, my husband went to this store to get 2 bottles of cognac, expensive cognac for 599 dollars a bottle, and it's FAKE, the cap was glued, we couldn't even open the bottle properly. The liquor was soured and it has a nasty smell. This place need to be closed down.

Decent selection but nothing extraordinary. Prices are fair. Convenient location. Matches my personal choices of beverages. But my bourgeois friends, not really (the heck with them). Check it out - better than the other liquor stores in the area, in my opinion.

I only went there once and was not impressed. Liquor selection was not really better than the average supermarket and the beer selection was non-existent.

This place has unique liquors and decent prices if you know what you are looking for. However, be very careful and check your receipt because the lady will try and rip you off. It has happened to me multiple times where she has overcharged me two or three dollars just because I was in my work clothes. I've never had problems with the husband and I don't usually have problems but sometimes it is very irritating getting a Haole boy tax. Lastly, this place has my favorite alcoholic drinks so sometimes I make the trip because I've never ever else find 32 ounce Corona bottles or adult Arnold palmers

Friday night liquor. Yup, that's how I roll. I didn't take photos, since its a liquor store and y'all should know what that looks like already. :) It was a nice night, after hearing that a torrential rainstorm had rolled over the area. I had hit the gym after a challenging day at work. Meeting up with Yelp Elite Mari K was the highlight of the day at Rico Rico Chicken at 7:30pm. After hanging out for a bit and grabbing dinner, we parted ways and I headed to Gourmet Liquors to check out the stock of liquor that they had on sale. I could've went across the street to Longs, but it was a wise decision to do so. Gourmet Liquors is a mom and pop operation, per previous Yelp reviews, so that was great. Supporting local is hot and amazing. I had cash on me at the time, so I burned $20 on a cheap wine and browsed the store while holding my Rico Rico Chicken take out in hand. The woman at the counter was watching me like a hawk, almost like any Chinese fast food joint, just to make sure that you don't end up doing something wrong. I don't blame her though. Gourmet Liquors is located on South King Street, across the street from Longs Drugs (formerly the Star Market in Moilili). Nearby is the Down To Earth, Willows, Maharani, and other well established businesses in the area. There is a small parking lot that services the liquor store and the adjacent L&L Barbecue like fast food restaurant. Bus routes #1, #1L, and #6 rumble through there for your alcohol fix for sure. As aforementioned, this business is a mom and pop operation and it felt real good to support small businesses. While prices can be expensive here, it's nice to shop around and see the selection before making a selection. While the selection was limited in scope, I would advise to compare prices and selection at Tamura's Kaimuki and see what you can come up with. The overall experience was okay. Nothing like being in a liquor store on a Friday night to kickstart the weekend in style. Don't know about you, but it was nice to get reacquainted with brands and drink occasionally without getting over zealous about being labeled a drunk. With that said, gourmet Liquors can be the source of quality liquor and wines, and spirits for your special gathering and events. If you are like me who prefers to buy liquor and drink at home, since its cheaper to rather than drink socially, then this place is for you! Affording $5+ for a glass of beer or mixed cocktail is really a drag, but drinking alone or inviting friends over for hanging out with booze is a great way to spend the weekend. Recommended to check out and see what brands of liquor that they do sell. Never know what hidden gem that they have that you desperately want to try, but haven't yet/ good luck and have fun! Support local! C

I Love Love Love this place! Its a mom and pop style liquor store, but they also have ice cream, chips, candy and soda. Everything here is pretty reasonable in price. Plus they sell cigs if you happen to need any.

Support the mom and pop stores. If you're going to buy beer from a safeway or times, why not help out the local estabishments.
