If you enjoy feeling like you're a burden to your banking institution then this is the location for you!!! Slow, condescending, rude, dismissive and passive aggressive employees. Make an appointment? For what? Show up 30 minutes early and get turned away cause they're "on lunch". Come back 3 minutes before your scheduled appointment and they'll still make you wait for 20 minutes, your time is not important, at all. You've been warned

Eric has been nothing but kind and welcoming to me! Usually i dont like going to the bank because of the long lines and tellers aren't as personal. However thats not the case with Hickam! I love to go to Hickam to do my Business here. The tellers are very kind to me and make sure im happy with the service I receive here. However I want to give a special shoutout to Eric. His kind and welcoming attitude really made me want to join Hickam Federal Credit Union. Thank you Hickam and Eric!!!

I am only a member here because my FIL is on the board.. but my goodness, this is like the most dysfunctional credit union I have ever seen. Their online banking is always down and difficult to work with. The customer service is so slow and sub par. They have very limited branches and the Kahala Mall Mini branch is painfully slow and limited in what services they can even perform. I'm def closing my account soon.... But prob have to wait in line for like an hour in order to do so.. -__-

Excellent service. The friendly staff gave me the best car loan rate for my new Honda and helped me open a Home Equity Loan for solar panels that provided me the lowest rate I could find. anywhere. Mahalo!

I have been a member of Hickam since 2002. I've stayed because of their great service and reasonable rates for savings and loans. This particular branch has been my go to for the past four years. Even through the height of the pandemic they've been available to help us members. This branch is a cashless kiosk branch. The employees here are exceedingly helpful and friendly. The kiosk is clean and neat. The employees wear masks and require members to wear masks. There was one teller that took forrrrrrevvvvvver to do any transaction but that person has moved from this location. Ever since then service has been a constant quick and efficient transaction. They have broaden their membership qualifications since I first joined. If you want good service and great rates check them out.

Hickem is one of my banks and I swear they are the worst everything is so complicated and there customers service service suck anything they do they take forever I wish I could just cancel everything with them without owing..

When I approached, no one looked up from their computers or acknowledged my presence. It wasn't until I started signing in that they told me not to. Then one teller said he'd help me and greeted me with a "hello" but said it twice as if to say he expects me to say it as well. Not one of the three employees there apologized for ignoring me. Frankly, never experienced rudeness to that extent from HFCU before. I live in Honolulu but I will gladly drive to Windward Mall or Hickam AFB where service has always been great.

Wow! I didnt know they had a kiosk at Kahala Mall right outside of Macys. I like that convenience! The teller was very pleasant! Quick and easy!

Worse credit union! Don't have any account with them, they give terrible service and have terrible programs. Save yourself from losing your money and undue stress.

Luckily closing account here! 4 people here but had to wait 10 minutes to get help! SO SLOW!! Plus, they can't give us cash at this location! Only cashiers check! What is with that?? Thought this location would be convenient, easy but NO! How can you do business like that? What kind of customer service is this?

I called ahead to ask if they do shared branching. Got a super helpful middle aged lady who said they totally do, checked to make sure HLEFCU (my credit union) was part of that. She said it is, so I asked if I could just deposit cash into my account. She said no problem, I can do that. I drive down here and a different teller is at the front and I say I want to do a cash deposit. He looks at me funny and says they don't do that here. Seriously? Apparently they have an ATM machine for cash deposits, and it's only for their own members. If they can't even get this right, I'd be scared to have them handle my money or anything else. What a poor experience.

My primary bank is Navy Federal Credit Union but they don't have a lot of branches, especially since I don't live on base. Thankfully there is the Kahala Mall Hickam Federal Credit Union, less than five minutes from my house and with pretty accessible hours--they're even open Saturday--and because they are a sister bank to NFCU i can hit the atm as much as I want without paying service fees. Very nice.

Manager Michelle refused to help me in a matter of cashing a check. This cost me a day of work and had to come back the next day and she was still rude and unprofessional.
