So military bases sometimes have thrift stores....how cool is that! Since I like to support our troops and save money, this place was a god send for me (hold your horses, I know proceeds dont fund the troops). Yes, you need to have military access to come here and if you have that you're golden! They had some of the best prices I've seen on the island, I found a vintage Def Leppard shirt for $2 and otherwise found really cheap clothes to wear to the beach and work. It was double punch day when we went so I took part in that and gave the card to my friend who is local. All in all, one of my favorite thrift stores on Oahu!

We tried to go to this thrift store, but it is on a military base and we were denied entry. So it might have nice stuff but we don't know.

I just went here today and staff was SO RUDE and unhelpful. I purchased a jacket for my daughter and came home and it is torn on the inside. I called the store and they said all sales are final. Why was it for sell if it had tears in it?!?!? Save yourself some stress and go somewhere else!

Rude volunteers, and grossly overpriced on most items. They don't stock much for odds and ends if you just did a PCS in. Save time and don't waste a trip.

Love this place! The staff is always so friendly even on their busiest days. Clothing prices by far the cheapest on the island for any thrift shop. Love the sales they throw and the punch card system! Definitely a hidden gem.

If you have base access, this place is a great resource for inexpensive treasures. You don't have to have a military ID to shop here, but it is on base. It is generally well-curated. It's a relatively small shop compared to Goodwill or Savers, but I've found some delightful gems here. Some things can be a bit pricy for thrift, but they almost always have special sales going on with items half-price or books 10 for a dollar. Savers and Goodwill prices have been rising these days, too, and I think the Hickam Thrift Shop is more or less in line with them. Kid clothing can often be very inexpensive here (and there's a big baby/toddler room) plus they have a good amount of local school shirts/uniforms. Toys, home goods, and holiday decor seem to go fast. All purchases help fund grants and scholarships to the military community and beyond. There is a small fitting room. There is a punch card if you spend more than $10 in a transaction. No refunds or returns. If you volunteer for a clothing sort, you can earn a discount for 50% off your purchase by volunteering for a few hours - they often post those opportunities on their facebook page.

Fantastic prices and variety. Lots of great things there. All the staff are friendly and helpful also. Definitely check here for stuff if you just moved here, as the day we went they had 4 keurig machines and brand new croquet set just as an example. Lots of wonderful gems at unbeatable prices especially when everything is already expensive out here in the islands.

The stuff is clean. However it’s extremely over priced. At this price point you are better off buying new. Went to buy my kids some legos and found them however I triple checked target and Amazon prices and found they are cheaper to buy there. I was shocked. Looked at a sewing machine noticed some parts looked as if it may not work and it was priced at a point on Etsy same matching half the price and video of that one working. Be careful and check out other thrift stores before you go to this one for sure.

Often closed when all other indications (Facebook, door, phone voicemail) say they’re open.
