Ham. You can eat it cold. You can eat it hot. You can eat it here. You can eat it there. In a house, with a mouse, in a box, with a fox... And Ponyo loves ham ham! Anyway... I live in Kaimuki and my hubby and I have been trying to eat at Honey Hams for the past couple of months. The timing was never right - ( open from 10:00-3:00 Tuesday-Saturday ) it seemed like every time we remembered we wanted to go was on a Monday, or after 3:00! It was Friday, and we took the day off to help a dear friend. After a day of running around and no time for breakfast, we were starving and said it was the perfect time to try Honey Hams out. We pulled into the parking lot and walked in... immediately felt a homey comfy vibe. We already stalked the menu online so knew what we wanted. There were a lot of cute items to look at, I bought my mom the perfect dish cloth as an add on for Mother's Day. Super friendly service, and I think I may have found a Sanrio/Hello Kitty friend here, Leslie! On to the food... my Turkey pesto melt was one of the best sammiches I have ever eaten. It was perfect. The croissant was so flaky and complimented the Turkey and pesto. Hubby had the ham sammich, and wolfed it down. The Portuguese soup had so many chunks of ham. It was just a tad bit too salty, but not too salty I couldn't finish it. We will definitely be back again - I'm going to try the Ham plate next!

Ham sandwiches are great but try the Pastrami sandwich with the Portuguese bean soup...it's amazing!

Service was great. Always come here for the spiral cut ham - a winner every time. Tried the Portuguese bean soup, but didn't care for the ham that was used - too sweet for my taste.

I wanted to go there because it was previously featured on BS12's ``Hawaii ni Koishite''. It's a bit inconvenient as it's far from Waikiki, but you can get there by bus.The inside also doubles as a general store and has a very cute atmosphere.I came here for lunch and ordered a sandwich and small soup combo. For the sandwich, I chose the honey glazed ham and germ bread named after the shop. It was so delicious that I would definitely use it again!I think the soup is probably made with the stringy parts of the meat that come out of the ham processing, but it's simmered until the fibers become soft, and it's tomato-based and filled with macaroni and beans. I was super satisfied! !They took care to take it home and packed it in a small cardboard box. Please bring your own eco bag. We ate on the hotel's lanai. It turned out to be a very luxurious lunch ?

I would give them a 3.5 if I could. I ordered the turkey sandwich and the ham sandwich. Both sandwiches were okay but a little on the pricey side at $8. Service was good as it didn't take them long to make them. While they were making sandwiches, I looked at their merchandise. They has a lot of small stuff for little gifts. It may be worth a trip just to look at their stuff.

Great for holiday gatherings and friendly customer service. Also sells small gift items for kitchen and jigsaw puzzles. Farmers market soup kit a must to use that ham bone and make Portuguese sausage soup anytime. Just freeze the bone and a little leftover ham.

Excellent service and product...Han sandwiches are grindage. Parking is minimal...but hey, we live in Hawaii...honey mustard is must buy

When you first walk in it smells soooooo good!! It was my first time and my husband got the ham sandwich with honey oat bread, I had ham with croissant and kid had ham with French bread. OMG it was super good!! I'm not a fresh ham person but man I was tempted to buy the whole ham to make lunch and dinners for 3 days. Husband had the Portuguese bean soup and he loved it. We definitely need to come here weekly and one of these days I'll buy that whole ham =)

I've bought from them many times in the 15 years my family lived in Oahu, HI. Ham is great. Service is ok. They don't have the kind of Aloha would expect from Hawaii locals. I tried to small talk with the service people and they weren't friendly.

I'm super stoked to had found this place thanks to Yelp! I live in Mililani so I've been in the dark about this place. Once I noticed the photo's on Yelp, I knew I had to come here to check out the deli and so glad I did!Not only do they sell the best glazed hams on the entire island, but they also have a deli!!!!! Mister and I split a ham and cheese on croissant sandwich, oh em gee!!!! the ham is easy to eat as a sandwich, the pieces were tender, you can taste the honey. The sandwich was so tasty so delicious! We also split the medium Portuguese bean soup oh em gee!!!! the soup was so hearty, generous pieces of ham the medium was too much for the both of us, we ate only half of the container. The soup was very hot so delicious. It all went well with their potato salad.While waiting for our order, we browsed around the very cute country store full of craft products and cute knick knacks. We bought some local snacks to take home as well.Can't wait to return, PLEASE TRY THIS PLACE YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!

The ham here is terrific. Just had the ham sandwich and Portuguese bean soup. It was so good. They shop is kinda like a small mom a pop store with local items. You definitely have to try the ham.
