1.) pro: the people in the office are very nice
2.) con: there’s no automatic notices letting you know if your pallet is picked up/dropped off I had to call bc I thought it was taking a long time & follow up with them: July 4th-July 30th is what it took.
3.) I had a couch for delivery 8-11. No one knows what is happening that day. The delivery person comes in at 2:00 & says I can’t deliver to your apartment.
Door to door delivery means outside like a pallet.
I had asked my salesperson they said it wouldn’t be a problem in the initial consult—-she’s on vacation of course.
I have to scramble last minute to find movers to move the couch from outside to inside the apartment at 2:00 when most places close at 4:30/5.
The guy who delivered said they sent only me.
But he looked & saw it was a couch. He said he spent the day delivering chemicals and then I was his last stop. He purposely knew he would have an issue last.
I don’t mind paying. But leaving your customer in a lurch at the last minute is unreasonable & unfair...I would have prepared and made reservation for such thing if I knew it would be an issue

The customer service for Honolulu Freight Service was a life saver in arranging delivery to Joint Base Pearl Harbor. They was very responsive to my needs and help coordinate the urgent delivery to my customer. Great service.

Every Single Package has been delivered late. EVERY SINGLE ONE! It took about two weeks of calling them about my package for them to just continue giving me the run arounds. Honestly...Good Luck

The company I work for has been using HFS consistently for the past 10 years and our experience is always impeccable. Kai, Jennifer, Michael and many more deserve so much recognition for their customer service and support skills. Even if something goes wrong, you can count on them to help you out the best they can!

Worst freight forwarder on Oahu. They said they could pickup a pallet and ship to mainland as I was moving off island. The next week, they say they can’t ship it after I am off island. Unreliable. Then they charge me $200 for picking up the pallet they can’t ship and will not release the freight they can’t ship to another forwarder who can until I pay the pickup fee.Small businesses stay away. They can’t be counted on when you need a shipment shipped off island.Horrible communication from Rachelle lol.If you need timely and professionally services, do not use them.

Not reliable. Not professional. I counted on them to ship a pallet to mainland from ****** and they said they could as I was moving off island next week. They picked up the pallet. Then the next week when I moved off island they said they werent able to ship the pallet. I then asked another forwarder to pick up the pallet form them and now they say I have to pay for them picking up the fright that they cant ship before they will release.If you need timely shipped freight, they are not the company to use. Customer ********************** is nonchalant about the situation and gave an attitude that she ******** could care less if I shipped with them and didnt care that she put me in a bad situation with my freight.Horrible company. Horrible service and no Aloha!

Honolulu Freight Service to the rescue! My husband was eyeing this gaming chair for a while but he could never get it because they didn't ship yo Hawaii. He kept waiting hoping that they would change their policy but it never happened. So then he thought of this grand idea to have it shipped to his parent's house and then have it shipped to Hawaii. Finding a company to ship to Hawaii for a reasonable price was not an easy task. Honolulu Freight Service had a reasonable price and so he went with them. The day of the shipping comes and he's so excited. Honolulu Freight Service did a good job with packing up the chair and sending it. They also did a great job communicating when the chair was arriving.

Scheduled my delivery on very short notice. Down a dirt road. Driver helped me unload heavy freight. Prompt and courteous.
