HouseMart Ben Franklin Crafts is probably the best craft store on the island. The store is good, clean, and well-organized inside with a nice selection all around, especially with holiday crafts, and some rather neat things. It has all the goods to keep you coming back. The staff is super friendly, inviting, and provides great, high-quality customer service with helpful follow-through. While the building looks run-down and uninviting in a skeezy area, the inside experience is excellent. Customers can find everything needed, even items unavailable at other locations, and the friendly employees are always ready to offer help.
How smart always has things I need and things I don’t need. But they have so many sales that it’s worth going and picking up things that I might not get on a regular basis the crafts, and even the little displays by small business vendors is such a good selection. I love shopping here.
