Owner/service guy Chris was really helpful and made the long drive out the north shore to fix my defective OLED Panel. Took less than an hour and gave me a great deal compared to what other certified techs would've charged me. Highly recommended.

I had an excellent experience trying to get my mom's tv repaired here. The owner is extremely honest and helpful. If it can be repaired, he knows how and he'll tell you if it's a good value to purse that route. To assess things, you can expect to pay about $78, but he will be extremely honest and fair about things. He was good about making appointments and he even made space in the parking area so I could easily off-load our huge tv for him to review. This is not some commercial store--so don't expect 9am to 10 pm service, but the owner was a good communicator about when to come by and was prompt and ready when I came by. His workshop was neat and organized--another great sign. We ended up deciding not to repair our TV, and he saved me a trip to the town dump to recycle the tv by offering to dispose of it for us. I hope he was able to use some of the parts to help others.

I needed help with my LG OLED TV and reached out to Independent Electronics. They were very helpful and took the time to understand what was going on with my television and explained beforehand what they were going to do to diagnose the issue. Once diagnosed, they ordered the part and was back in a few days to complete the repair. The entire process was performed in a professional manner and I am glad to have worked with Independent Electronics and would recommend them to my friends and family.

Chris Nishimura, owner & repairman at Independent Electronics, is definitely a man to be trusted. I have a 10 year old 52" Samsung Flat Screen High Definition TV with a perfect picture. Unfortunately, its speakers were shot and needed to be replaced. Chris diagnosed the problem right away after I brought the TV to his shop/home near St.Louis Drive. Other repair businesses didn't want to bother with it due to its age and the one that did consent to look at it, wanted to charge around $400! Chris at Independent Electronics, replaced the speakers for me and only charged me under $150, and he had it back to me in less than 5 days. It's now in my apartment and working like a brand new TV! Perfect picture and perfect sound! Bottom line is, you can trust Chris.

I had a broken 32-in Samsung TV and wanted to salvage it! The owner answered my call (on a Monday before 10a) and was very knowledgeable. He asked and answered my questions. We soon realized the issue with my TV and he said he need to find out the cost for a new mother board. He called me back with the quote and was compelled to advise that purchasing another NEW TV would be more affordable for me. I trust his judgement and would recommended him to others. Thank you!
